I believe that is what MaryKir was referring to when she said she'd had to stand on a coffee table to look them in the eye. (Thereby also telling us her height.)
ETA: And this, of course, is the origin of having them kneel. |

Just wondering - is anyone planning on going to the LA Shorts Film Festival Thursday night? And has anyone heard confirmation that Hugh is still scheduled to be there? I don't see any list of guests or agenda for opening night on their website, other than the films they'll be showing.
Speaking of which, I found it interesting to see that "Bob's Big Break" was written and directed by James Redford, son of the Sundance Kid himself. |

I'm puzzled because on IMDB and on the LA Shorts site it says it was written and directed by Robert Porter. |

Hmmm. Maybe a glitch on the LA Shorts film listings then. When I looked at the list of films to be shown by time, it had James Redford listed for both that and another film showing in the same program on opening night. Oh, well.
Also, strangely, now "Bob" isn't listed as part of the opening night program. It's been moved to the 5:30 program instead. I wonder what that means for the chances of Hugh being there. |

I just found this (while making very serious research on different matters, of course ) ; it has probably been posted before, but I never saw him rowing. And I love how distressed he still looks at it, years after the race. |

Please tell me I didn't misunderstand this blurb about the upcoming season of SNL ...

The article says they're airing the 34th season, and 2008 was the 34th season. Sorry. |

The ones that trip me up are the "Times" in South Africa. I'll be reading along thinking something doesn't make any sense (because they get shows/films at different times than in the US or UK), then realize the URL is .co.za instead of .co.uk |
