I mean...isn't that the point of fanfic? To make up a bunch of shit that didn't actually happen on the show? Or to right some perceived wrongs that they don't like about canon as its been portrayed? Oh, absolutely! I agree! I personally prefer those fics that stick to canon with their fics, but, of course, all is fair and acceptable in fan fiction. The examples I gave were of authors who really did seem to interpret the scenes as I described, though. In short, I doubt there is any segment of fanfic writers in the House world that are any more or less delusional than any others. There are several authors whose works I read specifically *because* they stick to canon and established personalities of main characters, though, so I do think there are levels of "delusional". :wink:

Wow - I thought House and Cameron had their amazing chemistry back in that "I miss " scene. Now, if everybody lies, is Cameron lying when she says "I don't miss you?" :P

I kind of believed her when she said she didn't miss HIM.

She sounded quite convincing. But I still yelled, "Cameron, you lie!" at my television.

I completely believed her. Her whole speech about missing the job, the puzzles, and playing PI was very much reminiscent of her speech to Foreman in Whatever It Takes, and she was serious both times. I think her infatuation with House was sort of a result of her infatuation with the adrenaline that accompanied the job, and she's finally learning to distinguish the two.

I think besides the adrenaline, it was also the need to fix, coming from that background of loss, and we saw her finally process PDH in season three. Now if Cameron would only have that conversation with Chase.

So, did y'all see this in Watch With Kristin? Shene in Chantilly, Va.: Will House ever have a romantic scene? Because it seems like if he got a little real love, things could turn good for him. I would argue that he's had plenty of romantic scenes, and I don't think I'm the only one who would argue that, so I am opening up the floor for House-related romantic arguing. (I know House will always love Wilson no matter what lady he hooks up with, but pretend it's like Highlander and there can be only one.) I'm a loud and proud H/Cam shipper, and would love to see at H/Cam pairing, but IMO would it be worth it? I mean, would it be angsty? would it be a trainwreck waiting to happen? or would it all be sunshine and puppies? I'm pretty content just writing about it in my fanfic.. and if it happens it happens. However, I would love to see Cameron's reaction if another pairing with House happened....

I think the House/Cameron is dead already...I mean,she's not even a real character anymore,she's just a guest star!And,by the way,their "love" was originated from House's physical attracion for her and her need of take care of that damaged bastard
