The song in "Don't Ever Change" was "Waiting on a Friend" by the Rolling Stones off of Tattoo You.

They got it right with that song. Here are the lyrics: "Watching girls go passing by It ain't the latest thing I'm just standing in a doorway I'm just trying to make some sense Out of these girls go passing by The tales they tell of men I'm not waiting on a lady I'm just waiting on a friend A smile relieves a heart that grieves Remember what I said I'm not waiting on a lady I'm just waiting on a friend I'm just waiting on a friend Don't need a whore I don't need no booze Don't need a virgin priest But I need someone I can cry to I need someone to protect Making love and breaking hearts It is a game for youth But I'm not waiting on a lady I'm just waiting on a friend" If anything, the song represents House's acknowledgment that his friendship with Wilson is solid and will withstand Wilson's relationship with Amber.

Too much time on my hands
So, Muxtape's almost a month old and I've developed a nice, healthy addiction to it. It was only a matter of time until it trickled into another addiction of mine (the one shared by members of HHOW). Long story short, here's the result of that happy union: housemdcharacters.muxtape.com. One song each for the Super Six, the 4 Newbies, Tritter (he made me!) and, uh, The Whiteboard. Please to enjoy!

Does anyone know what the music is in the latest House promo (the one for 413)? I can't hear enough of the lyrics to do a search.

Medicine Man by The Hush Sound. The link I provided is to a video isaytoodlepip uploaded yesterday. Fantastic. Thank you Chipmunk for the quick response (and isaytoodlepip for uploading)! I love this board. Ask a question, ten minutes later you've got the answer. :)

"You Keep Me Hangin' On" by the Supremes was used at the end of "No More Mr. Nice Guy." Written by Holland/Dozier/Holland it was the Supremes' 8th #1 hit, reaching the top of the charts in 1966. "Set me free, why don't cha babe Get out my life, why don't cha babe 'Cause you don't really love me You just keep me hangin' on You don't really need me But you keep me hangin' on... Why do you keep a coming around Playing with my heart? Why don't you get out of my life And let me make a new start? Let me get over you The way you've gotten over me You say although we broke up You still wanna be just friends But how can we still be friends When seeing you only breaks my heart again? And there ain't nothing I can do about it... You claim you still care for me But your heart and soul needs to be free Now that you've got your freedom You wanna still hold on to me You don't want me for yourself So let me find somebody else... Why don't you be a man about it And set me free Now you don't care a thing about me You're just using me Go on, get out, get out of my life And let me sleep at night 'Cause you don't really love me You just keep me hangin' on..."

This might be old new already, but just in case there are people here as slow as me... : "Not As We" by Alanis Morissette, which was the song used in "97 Seconds" (before House electrocutes himself) is now available on the album "Flavors of Entanglement". I just bought it on iTunes and am very happy that I finally have it, because it's a beautiful song.

I couldn't even find the song on iTunes until I searched on the album title, but it says the album won't be released until June 10, 2008.

Sorry, I didn't check the US store. (There are two versions of the album as well... one is "Flavors of Entanglement" and the other has a "Deluxe Edition" attached.) It's strange that they would release it here sooner than the US. Maybe somebody screwed up. ETA: I just checked the release date and it's June 10 as well over here. Somebody needs to learn how to read a calendar.

That explains it. iTunes is nutty sometimes. Guess I'll have to wait.

cindylouwho- 06-10-2008

For all you completists... Alanis Morrissette's CD was released today so you can get "Not As We" off iTunes.

Greg House- 07-21-2008

Which song is the one used for the Fox 2008 Fall promo?

marykir- 07-21-2008

if you mean the House-specific promo - Ludo, "Love Me Dead"

Greg House- 07-21-2008

No,I meant the first generic Fox one-the first one to show the "ouchie" scene
