One of my dear friends is a bartender. In New Orleans. He is going to make BANK tonight, for sure.

One of the many rumors circulating here in Who Dat Nation is that many of the bars on Bourbon Street no longer have batenders on duty... people are mixing their own drinks, etc. As I said...just a rumor. But there is no doubt that evryone here is still somewhat pinching themselves...can it really be true??? The celebration will continue until Mardi Gras--a week from Tuesday--and it will take at least that long for the reality to sink in. The Saints won the Super Bowl. No longer an oxymoron. :D

Oh no doubt, my friend will be doing his fair share of drinking and not working. I can only imagine the chaos and fun going on right now.
