I think Half-Wit made it clear that Wilson neither likes nor trust Cameron. i wouldn't go quite so far, but I do think that post-MLC/Tritter there was the possibility that Wilson relaxed towards Cameron & that prompted him to tell her about House's suspected cancer in Half-Wit. I do think its very interesting that she used the "if I need to look for a job" angle, rather than any personal appeal about what was going on with House. Post her blabbing to everyone in Half-Wit, regardless of whether Wilson told her to keep it private or not, I think its completely clear that House was seriously pissed that Wilson told Cameron. And that, the risk of damage to their relationship, is what is likely to limit Wilson & Cameron's future interactions. All the mind games about Arizona etc, I didn't see any evidence that that was genuine information from Cameron, but rather just BS that Wilson dreamed up to feed House.

Yes, I want to dredge something up here because I enjoyed this thread so far. I like seeing Wilson or House with pretty much anyone, but I loved this idea before Cameron and Chase were saddled with each other. I thought it made such perfect sense. Is it likely to happen? No - but who cares? Angry!sex is hot and really, that's my priority here. I also have a sick predilection towards ships that will almost certainly not end well. And this is partly why. It would have been really cool, and also hot. I thought that was well demonstrated in "Spin." I think they'd work as the type of friends who secretly hate each other, but need each other at the same time.I think there'd be so much potential here in terms of both their relationships with House, as well. Now that Cameron is barely in the picture, and is, apparently, off-camera with Chase, or not? I can't tell. It wouldn't be as plausible. But I want to say why not, anyway, because there aren't many relationship choices for Wilson, unless they start having him engage with Thirteen, maybe. I think the Cuddy thing ended badly, and I'd just really like to see him, you know, hot and flustered and stuff. I miss this show, is the thing.

Wilson and Cameron colluding on a couch was a revelation in "House Divided". After Chameron blows up Camerson can take over. "Cameron the Fourth" aka "Two Touches of Evil" aka Mr. and Mrs. Wilson.

You know, I'm actually pretty fond of Wilson and Cameron. I don't think it could happen in Canon now, it doesn't seem like they would go there. They would have to change up too much stuff, but I always thought that Wilson/Cameron would actually work, and it wouldn't be a train wreck, JMO. Spin, I think, was the episode that kind of did it for me. The very last scene, where Wilson starts to tell Cameron that if she cheated on her husband, it was ok, and Cameron pointed out that she didn't. The look Wilson gave her was really interesting. The 'You'd be surprised what you can live with line' was so interesting, in the delivery. In a way, it would kind of be twistedly paternal. I don't think they would ever have a real blowout, if they were together. They would both throw themselves into facilitating, 'fixing' each other and they would probably never realize that they were really never going to get better, because their neuroses are accepted neuroses that you really can't fix. Wilson would never get bored with it, because Cameron would always find something new to obsess about and Wilson would have to step in and attempt to moderate the situation, and if Wilson became depressed, or started feeling disconnected, Cameron would notice it and immediately start obsessing over it, giving Wilson something to do. I don't think it would be healthy, but I think it would work forever. Cameron would probably say, like Amber, that Wilson needed to do things that made him happy. I think that Cameron would probably notice that as well, but she would probably wouldn't be as proactive or as successful as Amber, in attempting to remedy the situation. I could see both of them locked in this long, drawn out struggle, trying to figure out what was wrong.

For me Cameron-Wilson has always been for me the one relationship that could realistically evolve into a strong frienship. S1 and S2 have many scenes of the two of them talking about professional, ethical and personal subjects. S3 although it took a while for me to forgive Cameron's attitude towards Wilson in the Tritter arc, I think it help Cameron lose whatever naivete she had regarding House's destructive self-involvement and the price paid by those close to him. Which makes her a better candidate for friendship that Cuddy in that I think Cameron would at least think it about a couple of seconds before (or if) she throws Wilson to the wolves to save House. S4 they had little interaction but even if it was a couple of seconds she was there for Wilson during WH. S5 We know Cameron visited Wilson when he was away from PPTH, her advice in DCE was honest and about what was best for Wilson not House. It was a shame we did not get a scene between them during the episode where Cameron was in charge of House, and I thought the scene with the two of them planning the bachelor party was cute. S6 I hope that we get to see some scenes between them, as she is probably the one person I could believe would care enough about Wilson to try to help him cope during these months without House. And also if she has ambitions to move up the ladder in the administrative sphere Wilson could probably be a good mentor and sounding board. Let me be clear I do not see nor want any romantic angle to this relationship. I want it to blossom into a true friendship that is about Wilson and Cameron first, and House second.

I don't know that Cameron would throw Wilson to the wolves to save House. She was on the outs with Wilson in MLC but she was also the only one who seemed to care how he was doing during the Tritter days and in Words & Deeds, she hugged (i.e. reached out to) House because he'd apologized to Wilson. And in Dying Changes Everything, House wanted her to tell Wilson to stay at PPTH but even though she knew leaving wouldn't change anything, she told Wilson that he should do what he feels he needs to do. S6 I hope that we get to see some scenes between them, as she is probably the one person I could believe would care enough about Wilson to try to help him cope during these months without House. And also if she has ambitions to move up the ladder in the administrative sphere Wilson could probably be a good mentor and sounding board. Wilson has always been a good mentor and sounding board for her, from Maternity through the crush, to Acceptance where he was the one who taught her to be able to get to the place where she can tell Cindy Lou she was going to die, to the exchange of secrets in Spin. She went to him to understand House (Daddy's Boy), she goes to him when somene needs to pull House back (Insensitive). Always there were hints that Cameron talked to Wilson off screen more than we saw. Much of their visible interactions got dropped by the end of season 3. Cameron wasn't anywhere around when Amber was alive and we only found out that she visited Wilson to talk about Amber from the PI, not from seeing it ourselves. Seeing a real friendship develop between them in the next seasons would be high on my wishlist for the show because they both could use a friend. They like and respect each other, and share similar values so it would be natural for them to be friends. I don't think it's going to happen though because tptb now seem determined to keep House/Wilson/Cuddy as a closed circle without any of the three having outside friends beyond the casual. The most blatant example was in WH when Cuddy was the one to talk to Wilson and help him decide to let Amber go while Cameron, who not only had a personal relationship with Wilson but had gone through the same experience herself, was seen only in a brief and wordless scene but than the bachelor party, the last time we saw Wilson and Cameron have any kind of conversation was back in Dying Changes Everything. The other reason I think it isn't going to happen is because Wilson can't have any real relationships other than House in order for him to be tied to House the way he is. If he has someone who supports him and puts him first, as Amber did, it interferes with the power House has over him (ref House vs God). It was a shame we did not get a scene between them during the episode where Cameron was in charge of House I agree. I'd even have settled for a scene of Wilson razzing House about having Cameron as his boss, the sort of thing they did in season 1. Sometimes the best Cameron scenes are without her in them as just House and Wilson talking (e.g. Kids). Instead, there was not even a mention of Cameron between House and Wilson, and Wilson was only there for Cuddy.

The other reason I think it isn't going to happen is because Wilson can't have any real relationships other than House in order for him to be tied to House the way he is. If he has someone who supports him and puts him first, as Amber did, it interferes with the power House has over him (ref House vs God). I definitely agree. Wilson will never be romantically involved with Cuddy, Cameron or Thirteen and he'll never have a close friendship with any of the characters because that's not his purpose on the show. His purpose is to be House's conscience and to lecture him 24/7. Can you imagine him spending time with anyone from the hospital? He wouldn't be around House as much. Besides, Wilson is supposed to be as lonely, miserable and dysfunctional as House until the show's end. That's why Amber had to go. She was coming between them, she was making Wilson healthy and TPTB will never take that risk. Also, Wilson will never have kids. House would strangle them in their crib! That said, I liked his relationship with Cameron. He was like a mentor to her, but I think he hated her naivete and made fun of her. So I don't see a possible romance there. On the other hand, Foreman and Chase made fun of her in Spin and Sports Medicine and Chase married her. After that, even Foreman/Cuddy is possible.
