It's that time again. Hello Magazine's poll for
Most Attractive Man for 2008 has started. Hugh won for the month of September and is currently in 6th place.
If the current poll is like their other ones, you may vote every 15 minutes.
Please remember that this thread exists so that voters will not bore the people who don't care about on-line polls. In other words, discussion and updates belong here, not in the media or Hugh Laurie threads.

He won't win. And he'd probably prefer not to win.
I just want him to end up reasonably high. Top 3 would make me happy. (Last year, IIRC, he was #2.)
ETA: Okay, that was weird. I just voted and the letters I had to type to confirm that I was a person and not an auto-voting program were my initials (followed by the #4.)
It's 4 days since my last post so this isn't replying to myself.
I've been doing my bit. I think I remembered to vote each day. Anyway, Hugh has 3rd place locked up with more than double the # of votes as Daniel Craig (in 4th).
The real race is for 1st. Robert Pattinson (36642 votes) vs. David Tennant (36126 votes)
I can't make myself vote for anyone other than Hugh but I know we have some David Tennant fans here who might be willing to push the rather creepy-looking (imho) Pattinson out of 1st.

I don't even know who Robert Pattinson is! :D but the 3rd place isn't bad at all. The last time I voted I opened 10/20 new tabs and voted ferociously :D, but this time, I couldn't. I suppose they invented a clever way to stopping it.
Hollywood seems very international, at least among English speakers, as there are just two American actors on the list, Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt.
And Top 3 are two Brits and one Scot!

Zumi, Hello Magazine is British. And you can vote every 15 minutes (unless you want to clear out your cookies after each vote and go back. I felt that once or twice a day was plenty.
Especially as we knew they'd have him back in the polls this year. The good thing is, if he wins this week we can vote for him to win the month next week and be done with Hello until next January's end-of-year vote.
And Robert Pattinson is the star of Twilight, the movie about sparkly teenage vampires.

On the weekly vote, there's no Hugh yet, or is it already finished?
He came in second. He'll be in again later in the year. The poll always includes celebrities they had on the site the previous week.
I know polls can be, are, silly but hey some bragging rights and media coverage can't be all bad.
Anyway Wilson and Chase are both tied for first place in their respective categories in the TV Guide Magazine Sexiest Stars poll. :)
That is a whole lot of ground they made up. :shock:
