Entertainment Weekly has a poll going for
best drama, snubbed actors/shows which includes an option to vote for LE. (No, I don't know why RSL doesn't make the best supporting actor list. Take it up with them.)
You'll have go to through a couple of polls to get to the best supporting actress poll with LE.
Don't know why RSL would get snubbed either because he is worthy of an Emmy as far as I am concerned. But I am delighted to see LE's name. This year her name has come up several times, which is nice to see she is getting some recognition. Off to go vote.

RSL is probably going to get nominated for the 2010 Emmy group. I don't think LE has been or is overlooked. LE is a skilled actor - no doubt about it, but simply not in the same class as the women of Brothers & Sisters who have garnered nominations and one win. I mean we're talking Sally Field and Calista Flockhart here. Then there's Marika H. of LO SVU fame who's taken home at least a couple of Emmys or more. I just don't see a nom in LE's future well at least not for her role on House.
Actors and actresses submit a single episode for Emmy consideration. It has nothing to do with their work for the total season. With the right script, any good actress could be nominated. And Lisa woud be in the supporting actress category. All the women you mention would be going for Best Actress.

Yes I know about the one episode submission. And you're right I metioned only women in the drama lead category. But even in the Supporting category, there was some pretty tough competition last year - mainly Diane Weist and Cherry Jones, both of whom I adore. I've only seen clips of Grey's Anatomy - never the show but you've got Chandra Wilson and Sandra Oh too. I don't know the actresses from Damages and In Treatment, never seen either show. I don't think good actresses are nominated. I think outstanding actresses are because basically they all have to be good to get to where they are.

I agree. RSL's best work to date was in "Wilson's Heart" and he should have received an Emmy nomination at that time. LE's outstanding performances in "Joy" and in "Both Sides Now" should also have been recognized by Emmy last season. Given the utter failure of Emmy voters to recognize the stellar work of these two in past seasons, I see no reason to expect any different result at the end of the current season. I do hold out some hope for HL finally getting the award for "Broken" this time around.
It's that time -- HL is up for December's Most Attractive Man at
Hello Magazine. You can vote every 15 minutes.
Once he wins that, there's the winner among the 12 monthly winners. He's been 2nd or 3rd the last 2 years in a row.
I've been very good. I've remembered to vote for him 5 times in the last 4 days. That must be why he's in 1st place by 2,000 votes.
Hello Magazine's final vote of the year.
I'll bet on Robert Pattinson (who gives me the creeps) winning. I'm always happy if Hugh ends up in the top 3 or 4.
Voted. The candidates for most elegant woman made me laugh.

You don't think Madonna, especially in that outfit, is one of the most elegant women alive?
And what's the world coming to when Angelina Jolie isn't one of the 12 finalists for most beautiful woman? I don't like AJ but she is objectively more beautiful than half the woman on that list.
The fact that Kristin Stewart is winning the most attractive woman poll makes the whole thing a joke.
Somehow Hugh's squeaked into first place in the hello poll. I can't help it. I'm voting even though I know it means nothing. I..just have to. I want him to win.
If it were anyone else on the list, I wouldn't mind him being in 2nd place. He always ends up in the top 4, which is fine. But it's him or Pattinson and there's less than a day to go so I'm keeping a tab open on my browser. Can't swear I'll vote every 10 minutes, but I can do 2-3 an hour while I'm awake.
ETA: As of this writing, Hugh has 130,309 votes. The 12 women up for most attractive have a combined total of 82,504.
