The Oscars 2011
Just in case you're inclined...here's a thread to discuss all the goings on at tonight's Oscars. Who won, who didn't, who is wearing the best/most hideous outfit and who makes the best bitchface (and subsequent quick recovery) when they lose... Also, Anne Hathaway/James Franco hosting. How the hell is THAT going to work out? Enjoy!

I'm pretty sure the three minutes worth of show I saw were some of the most painful I've ever seen.

It's an okay show. Franco and Hathaway are doing okay. Kirk Douglas was, by far, the highlight (and I've never been a fan of his.)

Pretty mediocre show. My highlight: Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law, can't get enough of those two :)

Unbelievably boring show and predictable winners. (Except Director-David Fincher was robbed.) You know it's bad when you find yourself commenting favorably on the memorial reel as one of the highlights.
