Loved the Christmas special and I'm ridiculously excited for Season 6!

I don't know which my favorite bit was of the Christmas special. "Flashy blinky things have my name written all over them. Well, not really. But give me time. And a crayon." The Christmas Eve in which the Doctor and young boy (whose name I've suddenly forgotten) were both wearing fezzes And the time (as the counter clicked to "4") when they were both wearing Tom Baker/4's long scarf.

OK, so just a few more days until we find out who River Song really is. (UK pace. I refuse to wait for "spoilers" like this until BBCAmerica runs it. I'll still watch it on BBCA. It'll just be the second viewing.) The Doctor's Wife was the TARDIS, and I'm sticking with that. And I'm discounting the idea that River is a future version of the Doctor since we saw her mortal end back in the Silence in the Library two parter. Amy's daughter?/The child Amy is carrying? Some part of The Doctor's Daughter/clone? The time lord like child from "Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon?" I'm open to any suggestions, even crack. My best bet is that she's related to the time lord child and the child Amy is carrying (though I'm wondering why she didn't have a bigger reaction when she first met Amy, unless she was merely playing it cool.)

I really don't want River to be Amy and Rory's-and I extra don't want Rory to not be the father of whatever Amy's about to give birth to-just because it feels like a cop out. I can't even say why. I am not so creative that I can think River isn't tied to them somehow, and I feel like it's too obvious River is Pond offspring--River---Pond---yeah...I guess that's why I have a problem. It seems so uncreative. I assume Amy was carrying a Time Lord (or a genetically altered human with Time Lord DNA, somehow) but anything else, I don't know. Just so long as Rory has something to do with it--I am in a 4 way with Amy, Rory and the Doctor----IN MY MIND!!!
