Good point! I can't imagine being in a Bass-free zone anyhow.

Well, next season is supposed to be the last season, and Noah Wyle is supposed to be back, so that's good. But honestly, I haven't paid attention since Dr. Green died. What's that been...almost 10 years now?
Not yet six. Ten years ago Doug was still around.
I'm just glad they're actually going into the season with the knowledge that this will be it. It wouldn't *shock* me to see Doug and Carol show up in a cameo, but it also wouldn't shock me if they didn't. Clooney definitely hasn't been shy in pointing out that it's more likely to come off silly than anything else if they attempted it and says he doesn't expect to be asked. Honestly, while I know that his appearance in "Such Sweet Sorrow" was for Juliana more than anything, I'm still a little annoyed that they didn't at least *try* to get them both to make cameos at Mark's funeral.
I still expect lots of guest appearances sprinkled throughout the final season, though, and some recurrers that we haven't seen in awhile showing back up for one last appearance.
Maybe Bob will come back as a neurosurgeon.

Or come back to shoot up the lobby.
I'd actually like to know what happened to Maggie Doyle. I know she finally got one name drop a couple of years ago, but her disappearance was unsatisfying to me.
In Chuck Bass news: Ed picspam.

Like the original poster, I'm way more into Chuck than Ed, but after those pictures I'm also being swayed in Ed's direction.

Thanks for the morning pick-me-up, amysusanne. I needed that! :-)

I loved pretty much everyone in the last episode and I was even kinda fond of Nate. I didn't like Dan but I'm not really liking his character lately in general. I think it's something to do with me being annoyed by Penn saying Dan id the heart of the show.
Chuck is always awesome no matter what. No more Chuck-less episodes, please :( I loved the "I'm Chuck Bass" scene but I think my favorite was with Blair at the rehearsal dinner. The looks they were giving each other were priceless

Only my tenuous grasp on the real world kept me from screaming out loud.
I was surprised that it was not the finale.
On a separate note, I didn't know that Russell Friend and Garret Lerner worked on "John Doe", a show starring Dominic Purcell which I grew to love.

I know, right? What the hell? I found Nate *interesting* for a moment which, love him or hate him, Nate is *never* interesting.

I think he's probably right, though. At least on paper at the conception of it. He was so clearly the Seth Cohen, but it just took a turn early on and while I don't hate Dan (far from it), he's a buzzkill about 50% of the time. Still, I didn't mind him this week. His judgemental streak made sense what with him actually *thinking* that Serena cheated on him. I could sympathize with him and side with him, at least from his POV. I enjoyed the hell out of the last ep. There was very little that I didn't thoroughly enjoy. Still, I feel like it would have been even more satisfying with that extra couple of episodes that the strike kept us from getting. It's all being tied up so nicely, which is fine, but a couple more ugly episodes of Serena's downward spiral and Dan and G's WTF relationship, etc. would have been fun to watch.

You are better than I am. After House this week I was beating the poor living room chair with a stick after the final scene. Da Hubby was amused.

I thought it was going to be Zack. And I was like, "Noo, Zack..." and then Creepy Stalker Chick showed up and Booth stood up and I went, "Wait a sec... NOO, BOOTH!"
And then there was Amber.

Oh, jeez. Yeah, I screamed. Very, very, very loudly at the end.

Monday was a very hard night for me.
"Bones" shocked me and "House" took my breath away.
What about Zack?

I know! That was actually kinda scary and I hope he goes back to his boring self next week.

I disliked him mostly because he bailed on Rufus to go make out with Georgina. Rufus probably didn't care because he was too freaked out to see Lily there but that still annoyed me.
I wasn't totally impressed with the Georgina storyline until I saw this week's episode and now I want more of it too. I'm still dying to know why is she so determined to bring Serena down and I'm dying to see more of Blair/Chuck scheming to bring Georgina down. The finale should be fun!
amysusanne- 05-16-2008
Yeah, that pissed me off, but I've made it clear that my weakness is Rufus. Up until that point, though, I hadn't been at all irritated with Dan.

Okay, now I'm beginning to feel a little bad for David Caruso.
David Boreanez was on Craig Ferguson's last night and they were having a bit of a laugh at him and the sunglasses.
Plus Craig keeps call the show Borneo
I think David was a little high.
And I have no idea who Uncle Art is.
