Mostly because Taylor is 14 and she's in her underwear there.
Yeah, I really questioned the wisdom of all that. Did they really need to be in their skivvies?

It's always kind of funny/creepy to see pictures of her at events because you will inevitably find several of her with completely age-inappropriate men and even though the situation is innocent there's *always* something creepy and off putting about a 14 year old all dolled up next to a fiftysomething dude.

It's not easy to make me cry over television shows. This week's Boston Legal did it, twice. I smell a lot of Emmy nominations for this episode.
Alan's entire closing was brilliant, but the part when he started talking about Denny made me bawl like a baby. He obviously loves Denny so much that even(as he said so on the balcony) thinking about Denny's death is too much for him. Poor Denny seeing what his future looks like, it must be so horrible knowing how you're going to end up like and not being able to do much about it.
But most of all poor Shirley. Candace was in top form. Her sitting at her father's bedside waiting for him to die also made me bawl.
On the other side of the spectrum was Carl, who was so funny trying to 'defend' his clients right for Nantucket to have an Atomic bomb. JL's facial expressions made me laugh so hard when the couple were first bringing up their wanting to have a bomb.
I finally got a chance to see this episode. So heart wrenching! Alan's closing was perfect. And seeing Denny in the courtroom was heartbreaking. I agree with everything you said, GG
There are certain tv/film writers who can make me think and make me cry without feeling like I'm being manipulated. David Kelly is one.

The second series of Robin Hood started Saturday on BBC America. Did
anyone watch it or am I the only one here who will admit to this guilty pleasure?
NightOwl- 04-28-2008
My husband watches it. Thanks for the reminder that series 2 has begun!
I guess this explains why Gary Dourdan got fired from CSI.
Why yes, yes it does.
So much for the "creative differences," "wanting to work on new projects" or "the show is going in another direction" or whatever they were trying to spin it as before, eh?
galaxygirl- 04-29-2008
I believe the original statement said, mutual agreement. It's like Hollywood couples who split up saying 'we're still friends and respect each other'. I hope he gets help, he seems to be pretty messed up if you get caught with that much different drugs on you :(
radiosweetheart- 04-29-2008
Clearly the 'creative differences' involved whether to smoke or inject the heroin, Dourdan has plans to build a really awesome bong and a kickass beer can pile and the show is going in the direction of not being a haven for crackheads.
It all makes sense, now.

LOL, and it's still better than CSI Caruso ;)
Over at TvGuide they are comparing him leaving the show in the way that was planned with how Glenn Quinn left Angel and look how that turned out. I think him getting busted was probably the best thing that could have happened to him.

:crying: :crying: :crying:
The whole Glenn Quinn thing still makes me sad. I adore Doyle so much.
JW has always denied that Glenn Quinn was fired. He maintains that Doyle's death was planned from the very beginning.

So, I just saw a promo for the next episode of ER, and I have to ask, how many times is this place going to be taken hostage before the hospital takes better security measures?
Sister Trixi- 04-29-2008
Another hostage drama, you say? Very original. I hung in with ER for thirteen seasons but I have only watched a few episodes this season. I don't think I've ever gotten over Romano being killed off. I liked Foreman better when he was Gant, too.

Well, next season is supposed to be the last season, and Noah Wyle is supposed to be back, so that's good. But honestly, I haven't paid attention since Dr. Green died. What's that been...almost 10 years now?

For a long time Goran Visnjic was my tv boyfriend. Then I met another guy, what's his name? Hugh Something, I think. I recently met someone else so I'm in the process of moving on but I just can't quit Hugh. My new guy, Richard Armitage plays Guy in Robin Hood and he wears alot of leather. House and Robin Hood are the only two dramas I watch on tv anymore.
