Television Comedy
Television shows have a longer shelf life than most entertainment media so it's being divided into a few categories. Any program that starts to take over it's category might end up with a thread of its own. Here's where you can discuss your favorite comedies.

I'm discovering that I love Scrubs. It figures that I would come to this realization in their last season. I've been watching the repeats in syndication and just saw the musical episode last night. I thought it was brilliant.

Go Scrubs! Despite popular opinions, I like the "My Life in Four Cameras" episode, just for the sheer cheesiness of it all.

I'm not sure if I've seen that one. What was it about?

From Wikipedia: When Dr. Cox fumes at Dr. Kelso for firing another staff member due to budget cuts, Dr. Kelso challenges him to balance the budget without firing anyone. Meanwhile, a sitcom writer is admitted, and J.D. starts to fantasize about what it would be like if the hospital was a sitcom, complete with a live audience. Also, Turk and Carla have difficulty trying to keep the romance in their relationship going. Cameo appearance by Clay Aiken.

Nope, haven't seen that one. :(

Despite popular opinions, I like the "My Life in Four Cameras" episode, just for the sheer cheesiness of it all. eh, I'm not a huge fan of that episode but I did appreciate the cheesiness. It was so 80's sitcom that it was scary. I just got into Scrubs last year when I started catching reruns on Comedy Central. It was Dr. Cox that pulled me in. I love him and Jordan. And Jack is quite possibly the most adorable little boy I've ever seen on TV.

The few times I've watched Scrubs, I loved Dr. Cox and the comedy, but that darn voice over just kills me.

I think I started watching mid-S6 and then forced my mom to order me all the other DVDs. That's what I did over the summer. :D

Oooh, Scrubs. I do love that show. It's just so random and funny. There's a really clever episode where they parody The Wizard of Oz. I do love that eppie. I don't have any Scrubs DVDs. I must remedy that situation.

I'm not really a sitcom person, but "How I Met Your Mother" cracks me up on a regular basis. "The Slap Bet" was a classic, but the moment of "That's two!" completely won me over, coming out of nowhere.

I'm not really a sitcom person, but "How I Met Your Mother" cracks me up on a regular basis. I didn't think I would like "How I Met Your Mother" but my mom sucked me into it, I was surprised that it was actually funny. It's not something I have to watch every week but I enjoy it. There's a really clever episode where they parody The Wizard of Oz. I do love that eppie. I don't have any Scrubs DVDs. I must remedy that situation. Ooh, that was a good one. I have seasons two through five, I should get the first one but I usually don't like the first season of anything that much, they take so much time getting things established (which I know they have to do but I'd rather just get into it.) Oh and does anyone else think that JD and Elliot don't belong together? I like them both seperately and as friends but I think they are terrible as a couple.

Hail the Random- 12-30-2007

Also anti JD/Elliot. I get really annoyed when Elliot breaks up with people so she can have a trainwreck with JD. Again. i liked the Wizard of Oz one, on the special features of whatever season it is, they have an extended version. *Fact: That was the 100th episode.*

I adore How I Met Your Mother, because yes, it really is funny. The things that go wrong on the show are sometimes things that really do go wrong...or so out there that it's absurdly wonderful. And there's Neil Patrick Harris, which is always a bonus.

Not a big Scrubs fan here, it rarely makes me laugh. I do like That 70's show, mainly because of Red. He's hilarious.
