It gets better, they are from Claynation. And most of them are scary.
It really is scary. I've never hidden the fact that Clay is my fave Idol. I think he's got an awesome voice and puts out truly terrible albums. Like, I'd rather listen to my old Perry Como records than listen to most of Clay's stuff. But, he can sing and he's a funny showman.
His fans, on the other hand, make me 'fraid.
Glambert fans, Adam went all the way to 1985 to bring you the most fabulous record cover ever!
Electric Youth or For Your Entertainment or something like that.
I'm pretty sure the Bangles are sad that they broke up 2 decades ago if that's what records are looking like these days.
Oh my.
I thought that was Kelly Osbourne at first. Wasn't 'Electric Youth' the name of a Debbie Gibson song?
Indeed, Debbie Gibson brought us Electric Youth. But compare
Debbie circa 1989 to Adam circa now-ish.
What the ever lovin'?
I am pained, ladies. PAINED!
Hearing people bitching about it prior to actually seeing it has made my reaction pretty much "meh, whatever". Very "Xanadu", very Duran Duran. Or...something that I can't quite put my finger on that is probably really funny but pointless since I'll most likely never place it.
Thanks, btw, for getting "Electric Youth" stuck in my head. I'm picturing Debbie dancing all awkard with a bunch of youngs in Hef's grotto. That's the video, right? Maybe I'm exaggerating a bit about the grotto...
Hmmm...Debbie's cover looks quite tame.
Lambert's looks like a freakin' Lisa Frank sticker/notebook/binder thing.
Mead should get their shit together immediately and market the lisa frank designed Adam Lambert Trapper Keeper.
But, but, I don't want Ryan and Simon to break up :(
Are any of you watching this year?
Are any of you watching this year?
Doubt it. I never watched before. I saw more of Idol when House followed it than any other time.
I saw the General with his very true and very insightful song, but only on YouTube and only because suddenly that's all anyone's talking about. But without Paula making no sense and knowing that Simon's about to bow out, it's just not the same.
