It looks like the band Queen is interested in Adam Lambert as their new lead singer. I can't say I'm surprised at the news but does anyone think he would actually accept or should he keep his options open this soon in his career? Link

I'm a die-hard Queen fan and I would prefer it if Adam Screambert stayed far away from my beloved songs. Queen died with Freddie and I would have preferred it if Roger and Brian had stayed away from other singers and call it Queen.

Adam Lambert isn't in the league with Freddie Mercury. He's not even close! I mean, really... I think Adam would do better to go out on his own and be a true artist than try to live up to that legend. He'll never be "Adam Lambert" if he's in the confines of Queen.

Surprising absolutely no one in the universe(except perhaps the people that thought Clay Aiken was straight) Adam Lambert has come out.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

galaxygirl- 06-09-2009

You have got to be friggin' kidding me. That completely takes me by surprise. My poor gaydar is so broken.

radiosweetheart- 06-09-2009

~takes down pictures of Adam Lambert ripped from Teen Beat and Bop! and Sassy mag~ Dammit, Lambert! I LUVVED you!

fffaw- 06-09-2009

When I saw those pictures of him sucking face with a boy, I just knew it was a manip and it was a total plot to undermine him! I will never believe it until I hear it directly from him...oh, erm, okay. ;-) (And because it never gets old, remember this - It will go down in history as my all time favorite spurned Claymate comment post-gaynouncement: "I will no longer be able to listen to Clay singing 'Oh Holy Night' knowing that he craves unholy nights.")

radiosweetheart- 06-09-2009

That's a phrase I'd love to casually work into conversation. "How was yr Tuesday, RSH?" "I had one unholy night, my friend." I'm just curious, who cares, again?

fffaw- 06-09-2009

Isn't that every Tuesday night for you, RSH? ::ducks::

radiosweetheart- 06-09-2009

Don't I wish. Most Tuesdays I watch Boston Legal and read gossip sites. Maybe tonight is my lucky (unholy) night!

fffaw- 06-09-2009

Now I'm jealous! I want an unholy night too but alas, I have an acupuncture appointment scheduled. And yes, sharing that left me well open to a series of "poking" jokes. Sigh. You damn kids!

sautomne- 06-09-2009

I will no longer be able to listen to Clay singing 'Oh Holy Night' knowing that he craves unholy nights." Oh shit! Seriously?! Someone said that? That actually DID make me LOL. For realz. Can I order up an Unholy Night for June 21st, please? It IS the solstice after all (as well as the day I expect everyone to celebrate my birth by waiting on me.)

fffaw- 06-09-2009

Yes, a Claymate said that on a Clay board. I spit my tea right on my screen. Absolutely brilliant. I wouldn't mind an Unholy Night for the Solstice either. Where do we sign up?

Boffle- 06-09-2009

Claymate? hahahahahhahahahahhaha. You guys know hilarious stuff. :-)
