Even tho Adam won me over, I've got to say Kris is adorable and got some skillz, so I'm not mad at the outcome. Adam will be fine.

Yeah, Adam isn't going to have a problem, but I really think he should have won. Kris seems like a lovely person.

Okay, you're right, that sounds kinda...dismissive. I don't know, he seems like a very nice guy, but in terms of performing, he seems really bland. Love him or hate him, you have to admit Adam has a "presence"

Bland would not be a word I'd use to describe Adam. He reminds me of Cher or someone awesome like that--only he somehow manages to be even BIGGER!! *jazz hands* That didn't work during country night, but it's exactly what I want during We Are the Champions. I was just playin'. But seriously, did Kris apologize for winning? I didn't hear him say that, but the EW blog said that he did.

I think Adam should have won, because the media is going to treat Kris now like he stole Adam's crown. Well, Kris is nice and all, but him winning kind of sums up this dull and non-memorable season of Idol So true. I hope for a better group next year. David was so good and I can't believe he sung that song so soon after his brother's death :( Also: The song will be available as a download on Itunes that night and all proceeds will go to David Cook's charity for brain tumour research that he recently set up for his brother Adam, whom he lost a couple of weeks ago to cancer.

I'm glad Kris won. I couldn't stand Adam's screaming. They both seem like nice guys and I'm sure they'll both be fine. Winning doesn't mean everything (see Hicks, Taylor) and neither does losing (see Daughtry, Chris).

Yeah, Kris did apologize for winning - he said something like "This is Adam's really" Yeah, Adam is more of a performer and indeed, is like the love child of Cher and Liza Minnelli. Fabulous.

Well, apparently we can thank Arkansas for coming through for their local boy. According to AT&T there were 38 million registered votes from Arkansas for Kris last night. Poor boy will be the next Taylor. Ignored by TPTB for spoiling their plans. Simon wasn't happy and a total ass for not standing up after Kris won. Last year, when he did get his way, he was ecstatic. I don't think I've ever seen him as happy on US tv as he was when Cook won. I'm fearing the backlash. Kris does not deserve it, but it will happen.

I think Simon can thank himself for getting Kris votes thanks to his blatant pimping of Adam. Kris was definitely the anti-Adam. I'll take the way Kris made a Kanye West song Heartless into an acoustic treat over anything Adam did. I don't think there was a single performance from Adam that didn't deteriorate into screaming. Kris has artistic appeal, it's just not as loud as Adam's. :lol:

It wouldn't surprise me if Kris did win by a large margin. He was gaining momentum throughout the competition and it's not like Adam never found himself in the bottom three. Last week they said only a million votes separated the top 2 and it's just as likely that Kris was the top voter getter last week as not. Last year the judges called it for Archuletta, but Cook won by 12 million votes. I don't think Adam was the shoo-in everyone made him out to be. I imagine he turned off just as many people as he turned on.

It probably was for some people. I think Adam is the polarizing Cameron of American Idol--people love him or hate him, but everyone has an opinion! Personally, I voted for Kris because I like Kris and have ever since he did Man in the Mirror. He, Allison, and Scott were my 3 favorites.
