Some song spoilers, some confirmed, some not... ---> Uncle Nigel said on Seacrest's radioshow that both David's get to pick their own coronation song out of the top 10 songs that entered the song writing competition. He also confirmed that Archie is reprising Imagine(yawn, said that weeks ago). Latest rumor on the web, and this is extremely exciting because U2 never cleared a song for to be used in the competition before, is that DC will be singing 'I still haven't found what I'm looking for'. If true, like I said, they had to do some serious money throwing at Bono and co, which is something the only do for Chosen ones... Eek, he might actually win it. <----- edited to add that this is made of awesome.

I'm sending in a lot more text messages than normal. I'm afraid I'm going to push my texting limit. I'm starting to get through more on the phone.

I'm calling the last number and not having any trouble getting through at least 90% of the time. Granted, whenever I get a busy signal, I stop for a while. Is that a bad sign?

I've tried the 05 number several times and can't even get a connection with it. So I say if you're getting connected, you're doing a heck of a lot better than I am! :lol:

Not always, I get through on the last number almost every week. DI looks hopeful. I'm still refusing to get my hopes up too far, I'm too pissed at the show and am voting harder than I've ever done. Oh forgot, do you all remember Luke Menard? He was diagnosed with non-operable cancer recently. All reports say it's treatable, still makes me really sad :(

When you all say D.A. was good tonight and that worries you -- do you really think someone would change their vote on the final night based on one performance rather than the whole season? Granted, I've never watched the show, but it would seem to me that everyone chose their favorite weeks ago.

I didn't think DA was any different than he is every week. Boring and predictable. They completely threw David in front of the bus and unfairly so. He was good, much better than Simon's comments showed. Fanbases won't change horses P, however, I've heard from a ton of fans of earlier voted out contestants that they were sickened enough to powervote for David. Simon's comments will sway the casual vote.

5 minutes of watching Simon once is the reason I don't watch Idol. What did he say this time?
