I just passed out of the hotttttness of Baba O'Riley. Archie was same old, same old. I have no idea why they are slobbering all over him. Jason, Jason, that was just sad. I really hope he won't pick up too many pity votes from the Cook voters. After all it's the week Daughrty got Daughtry'd so I'm worried. All Cook fans have to vote like mad to keep that from happening.

I keep thinking about this being the week that Daughtry got "voted off" too. I thought Archie was okay, but boring as usual. Still, way better than that fiasco that was Jason. If Jason doesn't go home tomorrow, there's no justice. Cook was awesome with Baba O'Reilly, but it was too short. It cut off before he could really kick it into gear. I can't wait to hear the studio version.

I hope Baba O'Riley is the studio version. Jason has to go, but he just keeps getting saved by his fangirls, who vote for them no matter what. TBH, I can't blame them :thumb up: but I don't want Cookie to suffer from that.

Has Archie ever heard rock music? Did he just say Elvis was "abducted" into the Rock Hall? I swear he did. That good coma Cook sent me into with Baba O'Riley? I'm flatlining from lack of oxygen coming from Archie's soulless, lifeless rendition of "Love Me Tender."

Oh, Archie's breathing is driving me crazy. And he's butchering Elvis, so he must be punished. Don't mess with the King! LOL

I wonder if they're pimping Archie so his fans will think he's safe? But they really blasted Jason and Jason DESERVES to go home after tonight, but wouldn't it be weird if it actually came down to David Cook and Syesha?

I'm sure Archie's a nice kid, but I swear every song he sings sounds the same and it's starting to drive me nuts. I like Jason's voice, but he just butchered I Shot the Sheriff. He deserves to go home. Is it particularly corny that I really want to hear David Cook do an 80's hairband power ballad like Bringing on the Heartbreak or something like that?

So..... I see we were all deeply touched by the elimination of Jason Castro. I saw that Little Steven is auctioning off a set of his personal reserve of tickets for a Bruce show at Giants Stadium with the proceeds going to help fly David's brother out for the finale. I guess that's some major confidence in the voters of America, isn't it! $80,000 is probably about what scalpers are charging for a pair of Bruce tickets these days anyway.

I think those tickets went for about $10,000. Such a great gesture from Steven and Maureen. It's good to know to have people like that amongst your fans. Maybe The Boss will give David permission to do one of his songs. I'm relieved that Jason got to leave. I don't think I wanted to see another week of pure hate directed at such a sweet guy.

Where does David's brother live that it will cost $10k for a round-trip plane ticket?!? You can get a package with round trip from St. Louis and 7 nights at a Sheraton Hotel by LAX for $1,300 (or $350 for the flight and sleep on his brother's hotel room floor.)

David's brother Adam has terminal brain cancer and is only allowed to travel by special medical planes, a trip that's around $80,000. It was amazing enough that Adam was there a few weeks ago and I hope that he'll be there if David makes it to the finale.

Oh. That makes sense then. Sad. It will be nice for David to have him there.

I'm stunned that they went for *only* $10,000. I know that's an incredible amount, but I've seriously seen scalpers selling pairs of tickets that are not special guest spots for more. It figures that a legit venture didn't pull in what the scalpers do. But $10,000 will put a dent in the $80,000 price. I hope Adam will be well enough to attend the finale (if David makes it).
