Season 5 DVDs
Will you buy them?

No choice for "I can't afford them, but I will rent them from the local Blockbuster"?

Sorry--didn't think of that option. I haven't decided yet (about the DVDs or my vote). I'm not sure 4 decent episodes are worth the purchase price, especially when I have so many other expenses and I do have those 4 episodes on a DVD I made myself. So bonus features would play a big part in my decision.

I have the (maybe) 4 episodes I might want to rewatch recorded, so I won't be buying the dvds.

Even though this season had more misses than hits for me, I'm still going to buy the DVDs. I like having the whole collection. Birthmarks, The Social Contract, Saviors, and Both Sides Now are worth it anyway. And maybe enough time has gone by that Dying Changes Everything and Not Cancer won't hurt as much and I can actually enjoy them now, knowing it all turns out okay...except for House going crazy, but you know what I mean.

I agree with LMC, I need to have the whole collection of the series. Now I need to go back and watch for earlier clues.

I have to have the whole set, but this year I can be a good girl and wait for a bargain. ETA: I take it back. Amazon has it for $21 below list. At $38.99 I'll buy it now (especially as, if the price goes down between now and shipping, you get the lower price.)

I will have to wait a long, long time before they hit the market here, but yes, I will buy them. It would be very nice though if the extra's turn out to be more interesting than they look right now.

Having seen the photos from Chase and Cam's wedding, I have to say that if they included a feature on the wedding, the stuff that was filmed that we didn't see, I'd buy the DVDs for sure. Tuition costs be damned! :lol:

I'll buy the DVD set when it comes out. I had to videotape the episodes on my ancient machine, so they look like crap. Well-written crap, but crap nonetheless.

I feel the same way about Season 5 as I did about Season 4. There aren't enough episodes I like to pay for the DVD sets, and I have Seasons 1-3. I don't watch any of them again on USA, so I'm not going to pay for them.

Ditto. Not what I wanted, not even what I needed.

I want them but I hate to pick them up right when they come out, because that is when they will be the most expensive. I'll probably hold off for about a year, but I'll check ebay, the pawn shop, and the used media store. If I can score them for somewhere under 20 bucks, I'll do it. Checking the pawn shop and the used media section at FYE is always a good idea, there will always be some crack head or someone who can't pay their rent, who will have to sell all their DVDs. That is when you get the good deals. If you wait a couple years, they might bundle three Seasons together for like 19 bucks. I hate that, because you're getting the same thing for like half price.
