Yep, that's the one bailey: very cool vid. And yeah, that navel scene was held just extra long enough to be gratuitously sexy. Not that I'm complaining, mind you. That's one nice tum.

USA is doing mini-marathons on Sundays before they air the Season 6 episode. October 11 - The Best of Season 1: Heavy, Love Hurts, Three Stories, Honeymoon October 18 - The Best of Season 2: Safe, House vs. God, Forever, No Reason October 25- The Best of Season 3: One Day, One Room, Needle in a Haystack, Insensitive, Half-Wit I'd never pick Heavy over things like DNR. But the one that has me stumped is Season 3. I hated ODOR. I wish they had found a way to tell about House's childhood abuse without making me not sympathize with a rape victim. (The funny clinic patients and the gorgeous shots of House in the jogging park could have been in any episode.) But I guess that an episode that produces hate could also be loved. Obviously it is loved by some programmers at USA. But the one that truly has me stumped is Needle in a Haystack. Even with the Whitner/parking subplot, it was just an average episode. I like it. But to pick it as one of the four best, over episodes such as Son of a Coma Guy, Finding Judas and Merry Little Christmas is, to me, bizarre. Note: It's difficult to discuss this without talking about the fans, rather than the show. But thems the rules.

I'm with you for the most part, Poeia. I think an argument could be made for "One Day, One Room" (not that I'm going to make it, but I've seen other people talk it up for various reasons) but "Needle In A Haystack" has always been the definition of "average" to me.

This is kind of disturbing. When you rate a movie or show on Netflix, it asks you how often you watch related movies. It assigns a category. I was rating Season 3, and the prompt was: "How often do you watch drug movies?" Yikes. Tritter and MLC notwithstanding, I never would have categorized the season as a "drug" season.
