Rule Update - Trolling
From Wikipedia: A troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion. House’s House of Whining has rules on spoilers, manners, reviewing episodes you haven’t seen, speaking for/about “all fans,” formatting, back-to-back posts and deleting mod posts. And we still managed to miss an important topic. So here is the HHoW rule on Trolling. CUT IT OUT! We are a small community and I am sick of letting one or two people make visits here unpleasant for the rest in the name of free speech. House is a show about moral ambiguity. As such, it will provoke disagreements. Dissent is fine. We’ve lost members I value because I refused to restrict others’ right to hold negative opinions. (I‘ve certainly expressed my Foreman hatred often enough. Unfortunately we’ve never had a strong enough pro-Foreman bloc to turn that into an interesting debate.) Posting "the show sucks" every hour, however, is not dissent. It is trolling and it will not be tolerated. To review HHoW’s other rules, don’t forget to visit Rules, Guidelines and Announcements
