Nothing wrong with that, I freely admit that whether I like an episode or not is for a large part decided by the amount, and what quality, of Wilson.
I totally admit it too. I can completely understand a Chaser skipping these first few eps.
Ok. RSL spilled some sort of upcoming scene between House and Wilson (see the spoiler thread).
Although there's no date on the interview...
I just read that. OMG  I wonder what episode that is, it sounds great and oh, so slashy. This just lifted my spirits. First breaking into house's together, now hospital rooms? They're clearly starting some sort of crime spree together. I love House tricking Wilson into doing things like this with him, it's love I tells ya, LOVE.

Well, it's not easy for me to figure that out. But, I suppose I'll find out when I see the actual episode.
So, this is about episode 2? I must have misread and thought this was speculation about the whole season, not a specific episode.
We're basically commenting on what we know about the next few eps. I know there's only 2 scenes of Chase and I don't think he has any lines. Ep 3 I think focuses on Foreman of the Ducklings. Or is that ep 4? Cameron gets her moment too. But mostly all the spoilers talk about at least 8 eps of the newbies/jerks. So...yeah. Easy to figure out that Chase/chasers lose out.

If the "blue/blew the janitor" scene is by any chance in ep. 4 it might make the whole thing worth it.

Okay, episode 2, Chase assists House in surgery, right? I could have these all mixed up, but I think it's the same one. It could be a significant scene and he could have lines -although maybe someone who's seen the episode has said that he didn't?
And, just for the record, I like Chase. A lot. And, I don't feel like I'm losing out. Not until I see these episodes for myself. Not that how I feel should factor in to how other people feel, but not all Chase fans necessarily feel cheated.

Another Chaser now home, reporting for duty. While I doubt there could ever be enough of him and his emo life and times for me (The Mistake, maybe), right now I'm happy to see him and know he still exists @ PPTH. Thanks for the picture alert.

Exactly. I have a hard time forming a definitive opinion on something I haven't seen. And, honestly I'd rather see something for myself than decide one way or the other based on random spoilers and promo shots. If I'm invested in a show I'm going to watch them all. If they suddenly had an episode of the show without a single sighting of House I wouldn't skip it. Character and plot development occur even when your character of choice isn't on the screen.

BLEW THE JANITOR. WHAT THE HELL. Why can't I hear this radio interview? Can someone who was able to download it put this random spoiler in context?
blue- 09-26-2007
Okay, that's it. I'm going to have to change my username to 'Blue the janitor'.

I don't know if you've read the transcript yet, but here's the relevant part:
RSL: I don't know how we get away with this stuff, we got - Hugh and I are shooting a scene and we're breaking into a room in a hospital and I say 'How did you get those keys?' And there's a janitor named Lou on the show and he thought his name was Blue, for some reason.
And I say 'How did you get those keys?' and he looks right at me and says 'Blew the janitor'
And I say 'What?' and he says 'Blue, the janitor' and I say 'His name's Lou'. He says 'Oops...
LMAO. Oh Wilson. Get your mind out of the gutter.
extra_cat- 09-26-2007
They let "here p**** p****" get through the censors, so I don't see why "Blue the janitor" won't get through.

That's where different strokes for different folks come in. Not all Chasers feel the way I do, obviously. But when I watch a show for a specific character, that's all I'm interested in. I've never watched House for House or anyone other than Chase. In a way, I guess you could say it's Jesse I watch for. Ep one held no interest for me and I dont feel I've missed a thing by not watching it. Because I'm invested in Chase, not the show. I've always been that way about characters I love. Just like I can happily loathe the newbies without ever seeing them and I can guarantee I'll never like them.
Siriusly- 09-26-2007
extra_cat, what are you talking about?
And yes, I saw the whole quote on the Spoilers-Only Thread, but I can't hear the podcast, so I was wondering about the fuller context.
extra_cat- 09-26-2007
There was an episode where Foreman said something to Chase along the lines of "Here kitty, kitty" only he used the "p" word. And, at least regionally, that word is one you just do NOT say, so I was pretty shocked to hear it on network TV. I haven't heard the podcast either, but with RSL talking about what he's amazed that let them get away with, I think that if they let "p" through, they'll let "Blue, the janitor" go too.
Siriusly- 09-26-2007
Huh. In Chicago, "p*ssy" can be a vulgar term for coward but it definitely isn't unheard of in polite company. Strange.
