I don't think there's any worry about Cameron taking up the spotlight anymore. It seems as if they picked 13/OW from the start (and didn't notice that she completely sucks as an actress) so it's going to be the House/13 show from now on.

Licia- 07-17-2008

I suppose its too much to hope that the reason why JS & JMo weren't at the TCA was because they were filming ep 6? I see interviews with Katie Jacobs posted & my knee jerk reaction is to wonder whether the interviewer could see her nose growing. Honestly, I'll believe there's a C&C focus when I actually see it.

It seems as if they picked 13/OW from the start (and didn't notice that she completely sucks as an actress) so it's going to be the House/13 show from now on. I saw your post in the spoilers. That was great news. OW, KP, EG, AD, and KJ had great chemistry. But since Amber's gone, I'm guessing it will be Cole, Kutner love nugget and 13's bud and Old Fraud, House's backup friend while he works his devious plan to reunite with his true love, Wilson.

Namaste- 07-17-2008

The article says three of the five are back as regulars -- that's 13, Kutner and Taub, with a fourth recurring. That could be appearances by Ridiculous Old Fraud, or it could be Cole (though I think ROF is more likely, since he'd have time on his hands if he had retired from his desk job at Columbia), but it won't be both. It may only be two appearances for all we know. It's not as if they're adding a whole new person to the cast. (Remember the spoilers that said Honey the vegan was going to be recurring as a love interest?) I'd love to see ROF come in as House attempts to figure his way through the Wilson issues, or maybe House somehow uses him as a go between with the PI.

I suppose its too much to hope that the reason why JS & JMo weren't at the TCA was because they were filming ep 6? That seems like a reasonable conclusion. Could also be that they were at the Upfronts in NY and LE was at the TV Festival so perhaps they wanted to share the wealth. I see interviews with Katie Jacobs posted & my knee jerk reaction is to wonder whether the interviewer could see her nose growing. Honestly, I'll believe there's a C&C focus when I actually see it. That's my default setting with both her and DS, but even at the Pier Omar mentioned that S5 they would "deleve more into the characters' personal lives and see what makes them tick a little bit more." so it seems to fit. To what extent we'll have to see. So why the heck can't they put some effort into bringing back the characters that helped make the show great instead of finding ways to use a character that could just as well never be heard from again and few, if any, would really miss. TOTAL WORD! (b) the author could have been confused & the recurring character could be Michael Weston's PI. I hope this is the correct answer. No ghost on House please! As much as I loved ROF, it's over, time to move on.

LightMyCandle- 07-17-2008

As much as I loved ROF, it's over, time to move on. I sort of agree here. I like ROF and I wouldn't necessarily object to him coming back, but if House doesn't have Wilson for a while and he actually uses ROF as his friend in that time instead of Cuddy or Chase, that doesn't seem to say much for House's relationships with either of them. But either way, I really don't want any of them coming back especially if we have to deal with the PI. What would that accomplish? Amber made sense (after my initial shock of her and Wilson) but it fit with Wilson and Amber's characters. I'll find it pretty convenient to have another excuse to bring back another potential newbie.

dee's timeline spoiler. That makes sense. House is up and around and impatient with Wilson's breavement. Wilson is back at work. He's given resignation careful consideration, he enters realtionships/situations quickly but he doesn't leave them so fast. If things resolve in 6 or so episodes it will mean it took longer than 6 or 8 weeks for as HL said, "The lovers to make up." :) Also that the minister they were looking for is not for Amber's burial but likely a House parental unit.

Chipmunk_love- 07-18-2008

Well...I guess I can deal with that timeline. I was kind of hoping that maybe the season opener could be just before House's first day back, just so we could get idea of how he spent his summer.

filex1410- 07-18-2008

Maybe he'll write an essay. I'm sure we'll get at least tidbits of info on what both H/W have been doing.

Chipmunk_love- 07-18-2008

Maybe he'll write an essay. I'm sure we'll get at least tidbits of info on what both H/W have been doing. As long as it's addressed directly to me, that'll be fine. :) Yeah, we'll probably hear something to the effect of, "You've haven't talked to him in six weeks" or however long the break will be.

Lully- 07-18-2008

I would say that about two months has passed. House and Wilson didn't talk to each other during that time. And Wilson is returning from his bereavement leave to announce his resignation. I'm sure the next two episodes will have very little Wilson :( And I still think that the road trip is in epi 4, when they would try to connect again - and I wonder if it's during the road trip that House starts his devious plan, maybe because some old memory?

travin1- 07-18-2008

Well poop. I had hoped for something sooner after the accident but I wasn't expecting it. I agree with Filex, that minister is for one of House's parents. I still think it's his dad. Maybe if it is, it will have a little bit of a freeing affect on him. Still wondering about that devious bit. Hiring a PI to find LLB is devious, but I think kind of predictable...my guess is it will be something more to it than that.

filex1410- 07-18-2008

As long as it's addressed directly to me, that'll be fine. :) Dearest Chipper, Wait until you hear what happen when Cuddy took me home from the hospital. Don't tell anyone but... :o Yeah, we'll probably hear something to the effect of, "You've haven't talked to him in six weeks" or however long the break will be. We got a bit more than that after the time lapse of the ketamine treatment. Maybe the first S5 episode will be similar to Meaning in that regard. Nothing in-depth for sure, the show like it's main character, tends to want to skip over the fallout from unpleasantness like, shootings, overdoses, near imprisonment, risky surgeries, seizures and oh yeah, death. That they won't completely have gotten over everything this time is amazing and overdue.

LightMyCandle- 07-18-2008

Still wondering about that devious bit. Hiring a PI to find LLB is devious, but I think kind of predictable To us yeah, but it's probably not predictable to Wilson. I don't think the PI is going to have anything to do with LLB, but it's possible. I wonder if it's during the road trip that House starts his devious plan Could be, but I kind of think that the devious plan has to start before the roadtrip otherwise I can't see Wilson going with him.

filex1410- 07-18-2008

Could be, but I kind of think that the devious plan has to start before the roadtrip otherwise I can't see Wilson going with him. That sounds right on. I have no real idea on what the devious plan will be but I would guess House starts to hatch it about 2 minutes after Wilson says he's resigning and puts it in to effect very soon after that.
