why in the world does it have to be some jesse spencer/kal penn throw down? it's not thunderdome. It doesn't. And I don't really appreciate that you edited your post after I responded to add that line which makes it look like I was responding to THAT question when I wasn't. You could have made that point in a follow-up post. And I'm sorry if that statement comes across bitchier than it's intended. I don't have the claws out. That's not cool board etiquette. I'm sure if I changed a post in a way that made your followup post look like something it wasn't you would be irritated too.
what happens if peter jacobson is the guy who works out and he winds up getting more screentime than any of the other five?Simply put, I want them ALL to go away. Peter, Kal, Olivia, Anne.... I'm not interested in seeing any of them. I'm not looking forward to them and am looking forward to them even less after seeing how wooden the two girls are in the B-roll. I know we're going to get stuck with at least two of them and if it turns out Kal is one of the better actors/more interesting characters, I'll root for him. But, in theory, I don't want any of them to stick around.
why set yourself up to not enjoy something just because you're convinced that you won't, especially when this is a show where the guy you like has always been a supporting character along with four other supporting characters? i understand the desire to see more of him, but i don't understand the disappointment and assumption that you're going to see less of him beyond these first couple. jesse spencer saying that he has had some time off doesn't necessarily equal no chase for the first seven episodes. It's a defense mechanism. Expect the worst and hope for the best.
My prediction on spoilers is really bad....the only two things I've guessed right are that Chase/Cam would have hair confusion...LMAO! The Chase/Cam hair confusion is really going to screw a lot of people up. How are people going to know who's who now? In almost every conversation I overhear people having about this show it's never "Foreman, Cameron, and Chase", it's always "the black guy, the girl, and the blond". Although I think maybe there could be 10 blonds on the show and Chase would still be the blond. :P
It doesn't. And I don't really appreciate that you edited your post after I responded to add that line which makes it look like I was responding to THAT question when I wasn't.i did no such thing and please do *not* imply or outright say that i did. i edited my post to include the bit about kal penn *at* penn that i neglected to include in the first post. that was my second edit. my first edit was cleaning up the post because what i wrote was choppy. all of that happened in five minutes. consider that everyone isn't working on a fast internet connection and that everyone isn't hitting reload every two seconds. i did *not* see your post until the second edit. there were *no* replies when i hit the "edit" button. i have conversations online with people based on what i see on the screen i do *not* twist things or try to make people look stupid by editing posts as such. i never have and i never will. if i wanted to reply to what you said, i would have done such.
You could have made that point in a follow-up post. And I'm sorry if that statement comes across bitchier than it's intended. I don't have the claws out. That's not cool board etiquette.no, it's not. which is why i don't do it.
I'm sure if I changed a post in a way that made your followup post look like something it wasn't you would be irritated too.i probably wouldn't have assumed that you did that. you could have asked me privately, though, before publicly accusing me of being deceiptful and trying to make you look stupid. i will be extra careful, in the future, should i respond to anything you say to preview it before hitting send so that there is absolutely no reason for me to go back and edit, even if it's just for a stray comma. i'm out, though. carry on. edited to test the edit timestamp. edited a second time because no timestamp appeared. second test done at 1103pm eastern.
JM one just reinforced my opinion that JM doesn't understand the Cameron character very well, as she goes on about how Cameron always wants to do what's right regarding the patient and how she's been such a do-gooder.ITA but maybe the idea of her being an ER doc makes no sense to her either and she has to find some excuse to make it seem plausible. But yeah, I haven't seem Cameron being all that concerned with being a good person, ethical person, or even a doctor in general in a long time. My main concern with that interview is that now Cameron is free to do what she wants without worrying about getting fired? Huh? Since when has Cameron ever been afraid to tell House what's what and do it her way and nag him constantly? Honestly, if she was holding back on him before, I fear for the future. Why couldn't she have just gone away? *whines like a spoiled brat*
And that its going to be funny that Amber's the bitch?I know but maybe the fact that she's aware that she's a b*tch might make it okay for me. I value self awareness. One of the reasons I can't stand Cameron is that she's a b*tch but she seems to think that she is this great person with these wonderful qualities just trying to survive and do good in such a cruel, cruel world and it drives me nuts that she can't see that she's a b*tch. If Amber knows she's a b*tch then maybe I'll be able to accept it, it doesn't make it right but it makes it more tolerable. That and since I'm failry certain she won't be one of the two to stick around perminately, I'm not going to get too worked up over her just yet. I'm totally with you on the Thirteen thing though.
