Have there been any definite spoilers on how they'll be gone? Except for finding out they won't be in the first episode? Or about screen time when they do come back (to the show, if not to House)? For me, as long as there's House, and Wilson isn't too irritating, I'm good. I do want the others back and will be happy when they come, but until I either get an actual spoiler that they'll be missing for a huge chunk of the show, I'm happy to wait and see. They might be on there more than people expect. Or not, but I'm not predicting either way.

Have there been any definite spoilers on how they'll be gone? No definite spoilers, but JS seemed to indicate in a recent interview that he's had a lot a time off from the show while they introduce the new guys. I'm rather on the fence on this one. On one hand I'm optimistic that TPTB letting us know for sure that CCF will be back is a good indication that they know they risk losing fans if we think they're canned for good. On the other hand, I worry that they think that House is the only character that matters and underestimate the role that the others play in the success of the show.

407- 09-12-2007

IIRC, they will be back (as figments of House's imagination?) and kind of flitting in and out for about 8 episodes. After that, they will be back in completely full capacity. I think for those episodes, Cam is in the ER, Chase is working in a surgical unit and Foreman is heading his own team in Mercy, before having to come crawling back to Cuddy (fo' relz). They'll be there, but they won't have quite as much screentime as they usually do for about 8 episodes (until the Last Duckling Standing arc is over, I suppose) I may be in the minority, but I'm looking forward to the Last Duckling Standing arc. Boy, do I love seeing House treat people like utter crap...

you're probably not in the minority so much as the majority doesn't sit around on the internet all day nitpicking, overanalyzing and ripping everything apart for sport. i hate to break it to the internet fandom, but we're not the majority and if we all stopped watching tommorrow we'd barely be a blip on the ratings radar. On one hand I'm optimistic that TPTB letting us know for sure that CCF will be back is a good indication that they know they risk losing fans if we think they're canned for good. i think they're telling us they'll be back because it's common knowledge in the first place. it's not as if we wouldn't all know that jennifer, jesse and omar were all back to work on the show. it's a non-spoiler to let us know, plus it's a courtesy to the three actors to not push them aside in press. there are six regular cast members, six stars of the show. they're three of them. they're not just going to ignore three actors, especially given that it really wasn't that much of a cliff hanger in the first place. of course they were all coming back. we're not talking "lost" here. it's not "heroes". there wasn't really that much chance that the three characters were going anywhere at all.

Oh, nothing.

galaxygirl- 09-12-2007

I think that clip is a fake Jouse. User comments on YouTube say it's a scene from the West Wing.

Jouse- 09-12-2007

Edit Hmm, let's see. Canon H/W sex?

Lully- 09-12-2007

It reminds TWW a little... And the opening is different from what was described in that other site.

galaxygirl- 09-12-2007

I remember reading about a fake House clip made with the opening scene from a TWW season opener weeks ago over at the other place, I guess it must have been around for a while.

amysusanne- 09-12-2007

it's the "separation of powers" episode of TWW. i'm not sure why someone would go to any trouble actually editing that, but i guess people amuse themselves in different ways. save for the fact that, given that the show hasn't aired, there would be no fox bug on the screen, that was clever picking a syndicated episode that aired on the fox affiliate that most often shows up on the torrent sites.

I'm guessing a buttload of PBS. Great Performances, anyone? Word. As for the spoilers, I read them all. In S3 I saw a few that really disappointed me and really made me question TPtB (Needle in a Haystack comes to mind). I was so not looking forward to that episode. The spoilers made the House-in-a-wheelchair angle sound petulant and small. Needless to say, I was not disappointed in the actual episode. The interplay between House and Whitner was very entertaining. I guess my point is, no matter what we may read, in however deep detail, nothing can hold a candle to the actual actors and the wit of the writers. They (almost) always come through!

DIY Sheep- 09-12-2007

I don't know about the lawyer clip, but there are four scenes from Alone up (unless they found some really good impersonators).

I haven't seen spidysense in a long time, so not sure what's up, but donkeykong is alive & well & pops in here periodically. Yeah, I'm still alive. Changed jobs, totally swamped, never on the boards anymore. sorry. But I can confirm every last detail of that spoiler posted elsewhere. I'm glad someone else had the time to type it all up as it was on my to-do list, but then again so is fitting in size 6 jeans and that's not going so well either. If I have time to pop back in the next few days I can try and answer questions.

If I have time to pop back in the next few days I can try and answer questions. Congrats on the new job! The biggest question a lot of us have is when will Chase--er, I mean, the Ducklings--come back? So if you get wind of that, please put us out of our misery. Contrary to what David Shore might believe some of us are not watching for just House or just House, Wilson, and Cuddy. I get a bad feeling that I'm going to hate Huddy almost as much as Ham a month into the new season.
