Yep. I still can't believe that post hasn't been edited by ones of the mods yet with the accompanying warning about putting it in the right thread. I guess because Stephen Fry's name wasn't mentioned, a 20 decibel siren didn't go off. I don't have alot to add to this but thought I would share my guffaw out loud anyway. At the end of the day, I think they just confused themselves as to where stuff ought to be posted. I'm going to resist every urge to even visit that thread knowing that she'll be spilling the beans in great detail about the 2nd episode as well. Though I agree---if I had those in my hands, no way would I be doing anything else but watching. Not sleeping, not eating and even trying to figure out a way to skip out of work.

iamdaffodils- 09-12-2007

Glad to provide that guffaw Bailey! I miss those days when you were stalking Hugh at LAX. Good times. Oh and yeah, if I had those 2 tapes, life would come to a complete and total standstill.

LightMyCandle- 09-12-2007

I skimmed over the spoilers quickly. But then I saw the word 'Wilson' and had to stop. And now I'm just plain excited. Me too. I love knowing every detail before I watch something. I hate being surprised. The more I know the happier I am. I refused to go see the last two POTC movies before I knew all about them. All the Wilson stuff sounds great. It seems to kind of mirror the prank war, I love it when they do stuff like that together. If I was excited before, I'm super excited now. BRING IT ON!!! :D

Jouse- 09-12-2007

ZOMG HOUSE TRASHING WILSON'S HOTEL ROOM Of course, I would much rather he'd be doing that with Wilson actually IN THE ROOM, but the fact that it's WILSON he says BRING IT ON to is making my head fuzzy. Also: * The guitar kidnap shenanigans. * The hostage negotiation. OMG OMG it seems most of the episode is House/Wilson!! If only I haven't watched those sordid boob tube scenes. Something's off and I don't know what and now I'm worried that they lost it. Bahh. But at least this made me giggle (from TWOP): Wilson ends up doing most of the physical work, since House can’t bend down easily. That's actually descriptive of some of my favourite fics :P

Me too. I love knowing every detail before I watch something. I hate being surprised. The more I know the happier I am. I'm the same way. There's no spoiler that's too detailed for me. When they said Wilson sends a piece of House's guitar to him, does that mean he broke it?

LightMyCandle- 09-12-2007

does that mean he broke it? I doubt it, maybe he breaks one of the strings off or something but the image of Wilson actually smashing a guitar, while amusing, doesn't seem like him. If only I haven't watched those sordid boob tube scenes. Something's off and I don't know what and now I'm worried that they lost it. Bahh. Eh, those individual scenes that spoil us ahead of time always feel off to me, House always seems to come off as a bigger jerk for some reason, ex. I remember watching a House Training clip ahead of time and was pretty ticked at House but in the context of the episode it all made sense, I'm not gonna worry until I see the full episode. How much do I love House tricking Wilson into going on a B&E with him? How much do I love that Wilson winds up doing all the work there?

LMC, thank you so darn much for this. This is exactly what I needed to hear. I knew I could trust ma shippers to cheer me up :) ETA: Also, are we sure those takes will air?

LightMyCandle- 09-12-2007

I knew I could trust ma shippers to cheer me up That's what we're here for. *hugs Jouse* are we sure those takes will air? Your guess is as good as mine. I'd kind of be surprised if they didn't though. I assume that the whole thing's edited together and ready to go by now.

Jouse- 09-12-2007

I'd kind of be surprised if they didn't though. I assume that the whole thing's edited together and ready to go by now. I'm sure it is, but what I mean is maybe some of those takes that leaked to YT might be outtakes.

extra_cat- 09-12-2007

Words can not express the intensity of my disappointment. :curse: :thumb down:

amysusanne- 09-12-2007

I'm sure it is, but what I mean is maybe some of those takes that leaked to YT might be outtakes. i doubt it. they look like the were a part of a pre-season EPK. the intro is typical of fox's packages that they feed to the press and the other stuff that user has posted is most certainly from EPKs so it's doubtful that they included any alternate takes or cut footage. those things are for entertainment shows (and the like) to use in segments promoting the show. i'm guessing that fox probably doesn't even give a crap that they're up there, given that they're sanctioned for use. i doubt they'd endorse it, but they're probably not going to have them take it down.

merlin7- 09-12-2007

Words can not express the intensity of my disappointment. :curse: :thumb down:  Word. I was so excited for season 4 after the way the end of season 3 went. But now, I'm just bumming. Way to go DS. Thanks for letting me know that as a Chase fan, I don't count. Cause, yeah...that's how I feel. I bet Jesse and the others are feeling much the same way.

melly- 09-12-2007

IMHO, I think they longer they hold out bringing CCF back the more they risk turning off a good chunk of their audience. I actually don't say this as a Chase fan, but as a fan of the show. Yes, Wilson is the most important relationship that House has, and I absolutely love and adore him, however, I think a lot of the viewers (and men in particular) are less interested in the House/Wilson antics and more interested in the medical mystery aspects of the show that you kinda need " the team" for. Sure you could bring in any old bunch for that part, but then you risk losing the portion of the audience who is attached to CCF and will be completely turned off by their replacements...at least I'm not too hopped on the the new fellows and we haven't even met them yet.

LightMyCandle- 09-12-2007

melly ITA with everything you just said. As much as I don't really care about CCF, I know there are plenty that do and the longer DS keeps them away or reduces their screentime, I think he runs the risk of alienating a lot of fans.

I hope he realizes that. I hope he's not so arrogant as to think that they have a popular show; therefore, they can do no wrong and the audience will accept whatever they toss our way.
