Nah... it's okay... we have a deal. I'd turn a blind eye if he ever is near Kiera Knightly. He ignores my lust for RSL. It's all good. Now this is successful diplomacy! We should have sent you two over with Bush.
shemett, do you not worry that the petite, tender, not so young, pretty woman you describe would be trampled by a person as domineering as House? She would have to have at least a little backbone, no? (BTW, I applaud your efforts - it is not easy to write in English. Such an illogical language!)

Just imagine the beautiful little babyEinsteins that could come out of this.
OK, so H/W-shippers try to make the best of it. Let's hope TPTB are with you!
All of this is just too fascinating and it means I will have to get out of bed at 5.45 on a workday to watch the episodes on my computer, before feeding my family and going in to work. Oh well, who needs sleep?
I am worried that if this strike continues this season will not make it to Dutch television, and no DVD's will be available.

The only woman who I could to accept with Wilson is 13;}
 Really?! Wow. I didn't see that coming. I'm really surprised to hear you say that.
Oh, warycary, your colleague is killing me. That's just fabulous, albeit creepy.
HAHAHAHA! I'm assuming if Amber is Wilson's LLB that in addition to the sex change, amnesia played a part in all this? HAHAHAHA! I'm just loving all this uproar.
The fandom needed a good kick up the arse in the middle of all the WGA woes. Bless, TPTB. Thank you for releasing this photo.
(PS warycary, sometime we have to meet in the Hizzy for a beer. I *must* hear the story of your French parents unwittingly going to a porn movie. This could possibly be the best. parental. story. ever.)

Talk about getting out of bed at ungodly hours!!! It's 4 in the morning here when the ep airs... I'll probably skip sleep altogether that night since I rarely go to bed before 3. And the day after "Frozen" airs, my exams begin.(for which I'm supposed to be studying instead of spending hours studying the spoiler pic)
I'll flunk every single course. I wish there was a course on House... That I could handle easier than American Theatre.

Well, either amnesia or he/she has the best poker face in Christendom.
I'd be happy to relate the entire humorous misadventure of the 'rents. Although I am not perhaps completely objective, that story is universally considered pretty hilarious whenever I've told it.
ETA:jonne & george - you guys are more devoted than Wilson! My colleague says to tell you not to fret. For your loyalty he says "God will provide." BTW, his initials happen to be G.O.D.

I'm a H/W shipper, but I just want some happiness for Wilson. I'll take Wilber as long as she is going to be good for my boy.
WORD. I've said it before, I will pretty much ship Wilson with anyone as long as they make him happy. I will NOT ship House (actively anyway) with anyone but Wilson. I think this could be a healthy step for him. I think it could be good for him to be with a woman who is not needy. Someone who is strong, is a doctor, and gets House to some extent at least. I do hope that at some point during this House will put Wilson first, whether it be to let him spend time with Amber without interrupting or it (on the off chance) Amber is using Wilson, to try and protect him somehow. I'm dreaming, I know.
I don't really put any significance on them not spending Christmas together, they didn't in S2 and everything was fine. It just would have been nice. *sighs* Oh well, I did get an ILU this season.
I don't think the photo is a fake, even if it is the description of the ep. outside of the photo still makes mention of Wilson dating someone, and if it's not Amber, then who is it? Oh and I think this is pretty much settled, but there is no way he is wearing a ring.

So you both have remarkable parents .
My love for House will not be reigned in by mere things like lack of sleep or my son going to school without his lunchbox. Priorities, Wilson!

Since Wilson is Jewish, he only "does" Christmas to accommodate a wife/girlfriend or House, not because it has any special importance to him.
I have this bet with myself that TPTB have forgotten Wilson is Jewish. Even if they haven't, in canon he seems to put a lot of importance in the holiday.
I have no idea what the heck Wilson would consider fun... My God this man needs a life.
Hey, look at how we're spending our free time! Oh, that's it isn't it? Wilson is a total TV fanboy. He probably posts on the Supernatural board as samdeangeek142.
I'm trying to figure out how long Wilber has been going on. I'm going to assume it started after Amber was fired until I learn otherwise, so in the Houseverse when did 'Games' happen? I'm not sure we can go by airing date, since 'Alone' took place two weeks after 'Human Error'.
ETA I feel the need to defend my House's record as a friend. In 'Sex Kills' he did blow off Wilson when Wilson wanted to talk, but it was clear that House thought Wilson was about to confess to adultery. Again. Who wouldn't be a bit unsympathetic? When Wilson's wife left him and Wilson needed a friend, House sacrificed his privacy and sleep to give Wilson a place to stay and jollied him out of his doldrums and got him to face that his marriage was over - at the expense of his own sofa. It's unconventional, but it is friendship.

I'm a H/W shipper, but I'm so happy with Wilson dating Amber. I can very happily ship them. I never saw that coming or even crossed my mind. She's also the only female on the show I want to see Wilson with.

Not Cameron though. Anyone but her. I have a serious problem. (Sorry to anyone who might support this ship) Wilson does deserve to be happy, there is nothing I would like more. But when has anyone on the show been genuinely happy (for more than a day anyway)? I think Lully said it once, if House or Wilson find happiness it's the end of the show. I think we love them because they're messed up. Somehow I don't see Wilson's problems going away as a result of his relationship with Amber.

I've been wondering about that myself. Do let us now if you figure it out Taiga.

I feel so much better about neglecting my exams now, thanks jonne
"Priorities, Wilson". Definetly.
I need help... :?

Yes! That's why I like Grace (wrong move, I know), Robin and even Bonnie (at some point they must have been happy together). The only thing I don't want to see is Amber being cruel to Wilson and giving House more ammunition about how Wilson is unable to manage his own life.
Jonne, I'm a H/W shipper and I don't see any connection between the ILU and Amber. I do think Wilson probably started to pay attention to her after the electrocution rescue. And she seems to be (for me anyway) a funny person, smart and witty. He likes this kind of personality - House is the obvious example, but he was friends with Stacy and Cuddy has some of these traits, and I believe he sees her as a friend too. But the dating thing only began after she got fired, I hope!
There are two things I really, really want to see from this: House's reaction and Wilson's reaction to it. From the non-cancer patient in Games we know that Wilson resents House's interference and sees it as control. How will react if House starts to play mind games with Amber?
george wrote:

Not Cameron and NOT Cuddy. Anyone outside the PPHT walls is fine for me. Another thing I don't want to see is Amber back, working in the same place with him, House and everyone else.
And boy! You are fast!
ETA: George, the impossible happiness idea is not mine, a lot of people already said it and I believe DS himself talked about this. I just agree with them completely
filex1410- 01-13-2008
Wow, warycary never mind how do you type so fast, how are you this cogent after so little, if any, sleep. I am amazed at you.
I haven't had coffee yet but I'll try to add something.
First I agree very much with everything that you are saying about what Wilson needs to get from House and how House needs to get to the place where he can do that for him and he can probably only get to that place with help from Wilson.
Coming from someone who is not a shipper I adore that you wrote this:But I do think that House would have to let Wilson into his heart before Wilson would ever get into his bed.
I am a serious shipper as fiddy and probably many others can attest. I really have no interest in shipping anyone else. I barely care about anything that is not about H&W, but I love their relationship HoYay or not. As long as it survives and gets deeper.
But I've had a great deal of interest in the idea that Wilson could use other people in his life, I was thinking a friend but so be it, to help balance it being so tilted in House's favor.
I suppose the reason I am okay with the Wilber, after the momentary reaction of horror and fear, is that I do see it as step in bringing House and Wilson closer together. At the same time I think it also reinforces H/W because way before this was ever on the radar I did see Amber as a version of House and saw that as why she was not going to stay.
I may be running out of steam here...I wasn't actually kidding when I wrote that Wilson's idea of fun would be a heart to heart talk with House. I think he craves that connection and availability maybe above everything else. (The scene you speak of wary was from Sex Kills and is one of my favorite. Wilson practically begging, in the middle of the hospital no less, for the two of them to really talk to each other, to help Wilson, and House well he just can't.) I don't think Wilson has every gotten this from anyone. If W/A can put H/W a step closer in that direction so be it.
Also I’m beginning to think that like Bonnie returning and the Cuddy dates this is going to be short lived. Maybe not as short lived as those two, but still. Wilson on his own is very complicated with a difficult emotional/romantic past and his current depression and that in itself would but a lot of weight on any long termed situation.
Coffee TIME!
Oh Yeah, Wary your colleague is a total freak, if quite funny.
You're strong stay with it.
vitawash99- 01-13-2008
For me LE is not even nice, CTB is too young and harsh for House. He deserve more tender and really pretty woman.
So shemett, tell us about this secret House/Cameron fetish of yours... (Randomly? In my mind, Judy Davis is always the image of Chase's stepmother. And I've never even seen Swimming Upstream.)
I'd be mighty surprised if that photo was a fake. Amused, but mightily surprised. Especially due to the time that would have been involved in making up Anne Dudek to look all glowy and fluffy.
I'm really excited to see Janel Moloney, too, March! It seems like a while since she's been in anything.

I'm actually a fairly poor typist. Remaining coherent I credit to my very witty and always surprising colleague, Garrett. (He of the sex change wisecrack.) And as per your request, I have gone to the Hizzy with Part 1 of Parents Go To Porn.

THANK YOU! I do have the episodes here on the office Tivo, but been to busy to search for the scene. I always felt that was one of the cruelest things House ever did, even if he just didn't have the capacity to give Wilson what he so desperately needed and unashamedly pleaded for. I, along with you guys, believe that Amber will be short-lived, but I hope that she doesn't batter Wilson too badly - or get too battered by him.

Ha! Well, how many Australian actresses of the appropriate age are actually familiar to Americans?
