Not even vaguely needy. I tend to see her as actually being very insecure & being needy underneath it all for reassurance - & IMO Wilson would be very good with her combined with the idea that she's got a lot of House's personality traits, more so than any of the other newbies. Amber coming back is the thing that most excites me about this ep & with Wilson is just icing on the top. Now I want Chase as the side of ice cream :grumbles about stupid TPTB & lack of Chase pics:

Yet more competitive balderdash. Only now CTB and House will be vying to see who can more outrageously take advantage of Wilson. I just hope House doesn't swap out her birth control pills. Have we seen *any* interaction between Wilson and CTB before? Wow. I love it. Well, since CTB is the one who revived House in "97 Seconds," maybe they began talking after that? I can completely see a conversation that begins with "Thanks" or "Good job," followed by "The least I can do is buy you coffee ..."

Well, there was that awesome scene when she left House's office through the balcony door and went back int he hospital through Wilson's office while he was talking to a patient. I like Namaste's theory. Doesn't House 'takes' Wilson's iPhone in the episode before this one? Maybe that's when he finds out Wilson is dating someone. If House is House, he'll dig through that thing to find something incriminating ;)

In terms of personality, Amber is the most like House of all the characters we've met. I'm not talking about medical skills, ability to deal with patients, etc. But they're both prickly and a bit difficult to get along with. No wonder Wilson is attracted to her. He likes dealing with people like that. (And, after being fired, she was definitely needy.)

I would also figure Amber to be fairly needy in the aftermath of being fired. Which really, is supposedly more Wilson's pattern - his wives were needy, until they weren't anymore. (Maybe they were living in the same hotel?) Still, OMG, this could be so much fun.

Throw Chase and Cameron in there and I'll be a happy camper for this episode. If Chase and Cameron get more than 30 seconds of screen time and Cut Throat is back, my faith in the series will have been about 70% restored. (If Thirteen turns out to be terminally ill and leaving for good, it will make a full recovery). Well, Wilson did say that the Bitch was pretty. What's Amber's specialty? I wonder if she'll wind up working in Wilson's department.

I believe Amber is a radiologist. That scene in Ugly, with "The bitch is pretty," is even better now. In a way, we might have Wilson there, slickly pulling a "bros before hos" and ensuring House has no interest. :lol:

First of all? BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! Yeah, I was wondering why Wilson kept hinting that he thought CTB was pretty while House obsessed over 13. I thought that meant CTB and Wilson might have a scene together, but they never did and I was puzzled. But now I have so much love for this idea!

I'm glad to hear Wilson will have (presumably) more screen time, but I have a feeling that Amber might be using Wilson to try and win back a spot on House's team. I hope not, but I just get that feeling that she will. In "Games", House tells Cuddy something to the effect that he read on the internet that they get to keep all four (in reference to his soap opera)...maybe a little foreshadowing?

Just once though, I'd like to see something go well for Wilson. I agree that Amber might be manipulating him for some purpose of her own (much the way House does). Once she reaches her goal, he'll lose her. If she's feeling needy, she won't be for long. He'll lose her. If she isn't needy, she won't be the most agreeable partner, with no patience I think, for Wilson's brand of universal empathy. He'll lose her. In the unlikely event she is somehow well balanced outside of her professional life, House might derail the thing anyway. If Wilson is using her just to rattle House's cage, it's not a relationship. Still no win. Poor Wilson. Here comes that bus - again.
