I just died of the hotness and guitar!porn from that new promo. Finally the TPTB are bowing to my whims. I'm down with the "Hugh Laurie grumbling menacingly in his American Accent while molesting various musical instruments Hour". So. down.

I'm not even going to pretend to have an open mind. I dislike them. They are a threat to my favorite character who already gets the short end of the stick when it comes to screentime and dialogue. I don't want to meet them. I want them to go away as quickly and painlessly as possible. I don't think many of us will be happy if the show starts focusing on the new Peeps. It's not just the Chase fans and the Cameron fans or either of the Foreman fans who will be disappointed. RSL has made no secret that he wants less to do, so why not grant his wish? What the hell--there are 40 new faces. One of them can be House's conscience. I bet 20 of the 40 are hot girls. Who needs Cuddy and her low cut blouses?
And then the optimistic side of me says it won't turn out like this worst case scenario I can imagine.
A really random thought just occured to me. Assuming House is in Wilson's hotel room, I kind of want Wilson to come "home" and have House already be there emptying out his minibar, it's the same as stealing his food any other time. I just thought it would be cute.
Oh god, I know what I wish would happen if Wilson came into his hotel room and found House there...

I dislike the idea of new characters, but I love the concept of so many of them, making me think they'll be like a stock of clinic patients interactions. I also know that if there would be a cool character that will interact well with House, Wilson and Cuddy, contributing to their screentime both in quantity and in quality, I'll like them.
However, I somehow doubt this will happen :? In short, as long as the h/w will be cultivated, I don't care about anything else :twisted:
WORD to Jouse's post above. I love H/W more than anything and would never go for any storyline that endangered that - but I can get excited about the idea of 40 job applicants auditioning for House.
Anyway, maybe Wilson will help House out. I always did v much enjoy H&W interviewing for Cameron's replacement ('That's our Hitler!')
