He's the reason I watch too. I read that Chase gets injured doing something to defy House's orders. I think it would have made better drama if he'd gotten injured because he was following House's orders. That would put House in more of a sticky situation and that's what the show is about! I read somewhere that he got paralyzed, but I don't know whether to believe it. It must not last long since he doesn't look paralyzed in the next episode.
No, I don't want it to be House's fault the man has enough guilt on his plate as it is. I really think that little speech House gave to Adams about guilt on tonight's episode was small lead into next week.

I wouldn't mind seeing House with more guilt. It's sort of a theme of the series, after all. People get hurt being around House and they either stay with him or they leave. It shows how incredibly loyal someone like Wilson is or how "enough is enough" for someone like Cuddy.
I have to say I'm looking forward to the next two episodes more than I've ever anticipated any episodes prior; and given how excited I was about this show in Season 3, that's saying something. I certainly never thought I'd feel this way about House again post Seasons 4 and 5.

I don't think the injury is House's fault. I thought the press release said that the staff member defies House's orders, which directly leads the staff member's severe injuries. However, I think the larger issue is House's methods in general and how that has affected his team and their line in the sand.

Disappointed that Wilson is not mentioned in any of the descriptions for the Sweeps episodes. I just hope that to mention him would mean giving away serious big spoilers!!! and not that his role is so insignificant that he has gone back to New York and is actually just phoning in his scenes. I love House but sometimes it is crinimal how under used RSL /Wilson is!!!.

I know Wilson is not in 811 and I imagine he's not in 812 since GY said the episodes were related. Usually I don't even watch Wilsonless episodes but this one seems to have a similar format to HH/WH, which I loved. I like the formal inquiry/flashback format. I'm not a Chase fan but the overarching story is very interesting and has been a long time coming. I need to see House and his methods put on trial and held accountable.
When Wilson does find out about the incident I cannot imagine how that will affect the House/Wilson relationship. It may bring up the circumstances that led to Amber's death.

"He totally empathizes, and finds a connection with this girl," Spencer says. "Unfortunately, the faith thing sort of drops away. He becomes very scientific about it and more like House about it. He really wants to question her reasons, and challenge her as to why she's getting into what she's doing. Is it really logical? Is it the right decision? It's a big life question."
I'm disappointed to hear that "the faith things sort of drops away." ALL the doctors on this show are scientific when it comes to matter of faith. It would have been interesting and *different* to see some faith come into play. The scene that made me a fan of the show was Chase praying over the dead baby. I miss that aspect of his character.

You may see Chase, Foreman and Co. back on TV next fall. The early announcement, coming at the start of pilot season’s casting phase, frees the show’s ensemble up to attach themselves to potential new series. Don’t look for Hugh Laurie to pursue a tube return anytime soon though. “I’m sure he’s looking forward to a nice long break from the weekly grind,” shares an insider.
I'd be the happiest girl in the world if I saw Chase back on my TV next fall!

It won't be Chase, it'll be Jesse - they are in casting mode right now for next season's shows.

I just hope they don't bring in Cuddy for the finale. At this point I'd almost rather see Stacy.

Oh, I thought that passage was implying that there was a possibility of a spin-off. Either way, so long as Jesse gets something awesome to do I'll be very happy. :)

I am not surprised at the cancelation at all. I think Hugh gave too many clues he was all too ready to move on. His ever increasing interest in his music was one, and perhaps greatest clue. But also his less than obsessive interest in detail of his performance on House. I cannot tell you the number of times I have seen House almost skip stage right. No limp. No nothing. I am assuming he was thinking he was out of frame, but it was a sloppiness that is not in his nature. He had checked out. I wish him only the best. He has given me years of a wonderfully interesting character of House. If he wants to move on, it is the right thing for him and the character.

Since we've got so little time to left to deal with House's issues, I really hope they've put some juicy stuff about House's relationship with his dad and biodad in the upcoming episode where his mom shows up with the new boyfriend.

Me too. I watch the show for House. The other characters are just mirrors to reflect the foibles of House himself. I hope the powers that be do not disappoint me.

So I guess Billy Connolly is playing House's bio-dad? He's Blythe's new (old?) love interest and his name is Thomas.
We learned ind 'Private Lives' that bio-dad's name is Thomas Bell and that he looks like Sean Connery ('Birthmarks'). I think it fits very well.
Looking forward to Feb 27th 'Love Is Blind'
(Was this very old news and I missed it, because I've been gone for ages?)
jonne- 02-14-2012
If you missed it, so did I. So good to see you here.
This sounds like a very interesting twist. I don't think Billy looks like Sean though, apart from the accent, but good catch with the name!
I'm very much looking forward to this.
What I don't like is the mention of Domenika  . Please end that nonsense now, folks.
