407- 10-31-2007

I just noticed something: should I be offended that episode 407 is called 'Ugly'? They are obviously using it as an opposite designation like calling a huge guy "Tiny". So for Ugly, think Beautiful. :D That's what I keep telling myself  Christmas parties, eh? Yes, yes I know. My contributions to the discussion are vital. ETA - You know what I think? The 30 second glimpse of Chase is worse than no Chase at all. It's like, the glimpse is a tease - you've been reminded of how much you like him and you want more. At least when he's not there, you can try and convince yourself that he's nothing special. It's harder to do that when you're reminded that he is. But that's just me.

I don't think they hate Foreman. They just know that House is absolutely the alpha in that situation and, as a result of the House/Cuddy showdown with mirror-man, that House is the one to please in that situation too. So it's more a case of not fearing (and perhaps not respecting) Foreman.

Ah, but Wilson's got House on a leash ;) At the rate House is making friends, Christmas at the house of House could get crowded. Can you imagine Cameron, Chase, Foreman, ROF, Cuddy, and Wilson all in his apartment while he plays the piano? It frightens me. *groans in pain*

Weird night janitor who wears his pants backwards didn't get an invitation to the Christmas party? :( ETA - You know what I think? The 30 second glimpse of Chase is worse than no Chase at all. Oh no it's definitely better than no Chase at all but I'm just hoping we'll get at least that 30 second glimpse of Chase in 4x06. I have this fear that we might not see him in this episode at all. Weird night janitor who wears his pants backwards didn't get an invitation to the Christmas party? I'll add him to the list, House is so popular now, I can't keep up with all his friends. I have this fear that we might not see him in this episode at all. I kind of think that because House isn't there, Foreman will wind up going to Chase and Cameron for help. This is just a guess though.

I kind of think that because House isn't there, Foreman will wind up going to Chase and Cameron for help. This is just a guess though. Interesting idea, and it proves once again that Foreman isn't ready to handle his own team yet. Then again, I'm partial to any ideas that result in more Chase time. I'm hoping they run the episode like "Airborne" with the two simultaneous cases and don't spend most of the time on the CIA thing.

We actually have no idea yet how well Foreman will cope with running the team of candidates. I'm hoping that the two cases are run simultaneously, but that House at the CIA gets the lion's share of the broadcast time. A little bit of Foreman with the newbies surrounded by lots of House in his own version of Spy vs. Spy would be ideal, I think.

IIRC, we've got next to nothing in terms of spoilers on the next episodes, right? So my main concern is that there's going to be little or next-to-nothing Wilson or Cuddy. Quel tragedie!

I want to know more about the scene involving the "Blue the janitor" line...

I want to know more about the scene involving the "Blue the janitor" line... Is "Blue the Janitor" in episode 4 x 6 or 4 x 7?

407- 11-01-2007

I want to know more about the scene involving the "Blue the janitor" line... Is "Blue the Janitor" in episode 4 x 6 or 4 x 7? We're gonna have to be suprised I guess (I mean, for all we know, it could be in 4x12)

LightMyCandle- 11-01-2007

So my main concern is that there's going to be little or next-to-nothing Wilson or Cuddy. That's my main problem too. If House isn't there, what would the purpose of those two be? Well, Cuddy being around is plausible, but Wilson? My guess is he'll have one scene with either Cuddy or Foreman, most likely Foreman. My fear is that Wilson won't be in it at all. If my pattern keeps up, this ep. will suck, to me anyway. We're gonna have to be suprised I guess (I mean, for all we know, it could be in 4x12) I don't think they've written that far ahead, especially with all the writers drama going on right now. I really doubt it's next week since House is gone. It will probably be 4x7, 4x8, or 4x9. Hey if it's 4x7, will that make up for them calling it "Ugly" 407?

Can someone please explain the "blue the janitor" thing you're talking about? Thanks. :)

idonmatrix- 11-01-2007

In an interview RSL was talking about what the Fox censors let the House get away with. As an example, he mentioned a scene in an upcoming episode where he and House break into some area in the hospital. Wilson ask House how he got the keys and House replies "blew the janitor" Wilson says what? House says again blew the janitor. Wilson says his name is Lou. House goes Opps!

Although I think they've probably said worse on the show.
