I do hope the promo monkeys are messing with us, but I am more and more afraid this is just...a mess. Found the TV guide article for the finale. Huddy reunion "not gonna happen" says Shore, and House will not change. I think we already got that... What is the point in repeating it over and over? Huddies are such a tiny part of the viewers, is it worth bothering? (I'm speaking on from a fandom point of view, , no trying to bash anyone.) Are they awaiting upset viewers, that they feel the need to scratch some finale expectations? On the other hand, we will get closure on Thirteen's jail time and Taub's marriage mess. Gee, I was wondering... Seriously, as a poll, are there really here people interested in 13 and Taub in a season finale??! Really? What's wrong with me? House marrying anyone, House boxing, Wilson DOA, a metaphorical cliffhanger? Am I the only one pinching myself? Times like this, I would happily take the whole season as a parallel universe. I hope House had some brain problem and we are not seeing the real truth. I once wondered how bad I would miss House, once it would be done. TPTB are apparently doing their best to ease the pain. :) So glad I had a whole french HL week, and the concert to come, to distract myself.

I'd rather see 13 and Taub than more Huddy in a season finale and I think y'all all can guess just about how much I care about 13 or Taub. It all sounds like a weak season finale to me. But you never know.

But you never know. That's kind of my point. I don't know anyone who would watch Taub and 13 if there was anything else. People who wanted Huddy (that sounds like an Indian name!) don't want anything to do with the never ending aftermath of it. People who did not want it obviously don't like the aftermath better, since we're still about it. Nobody's happy. I honestly wonder what the writers can pull off to shake all this grumbling. Problem is, what I read does not sound appealing and they almost got me out of watching it. Reading the transcripts will do the trick. Problem is, I volunteered to do the transcript.... :( I would be very very happy to apologise again and again if it got me back in, though. I eagerly wait for it.

Holy crap!. Those 'After Hours' promo pics. What is House up to now? Looks like he's doing surgery on his own leg and winds up in the hospital.

I wonder if that happens before or after the surgery in the other photos. Clearly he's sitting in the bathtub, with a full set of tools, lights and his MRI (there are circled areas, so I wonder if that's where he's thinking to cut?)

In The Fix promo, we see House removing a tourniquet from his arm. They want us to think drugs, but he could be 1/ drawing blood, 2/, injecting some medication in order to prepare his own surgery. I was wondering if he could use steroids, to gain muscle in this thigh, or maybe vascular growth factor, in an attempt to re-vascularise his scar/muscle and be able to cut into it safely, without necrosis? They VEGF this week for the POTW diagnosis, it's not like he could not have stolen some. Of course, steroids would be easier. Interesting :)

I love the fact that the promos are full of Wilson. It proves,to me, that TPTB have realised how important Wilson is to the veiwing figures

If he did think he had new arterial clots, he’s probably terrified that they’d all insist on amputation, maybe that’s why he’s trying something on his own. Wonder if he thinks better of it before trying to do it, and we have a return to Three Stories and the decision point. They do what House wants and not badger him into amputation. I wonder if in “THe Fix” House considers doing Heroin because the pain is so much worse–everyone around him would insist that the pain is emotional, not physical. But at the last minute again, he reconsiders before putting in the first syringe-full.

Cuddyclothes- 05-04-2011

In "Lockdown" he had a discussion with the dying patient that the pain had migrated, perhaps to the arterial wall, but he hadn't gotten an arteriogram (thanks to LJ's clinic duty). So perhaps he's trying to fix that in his own Houseian way. LOVE LOVE LOVE that Wilson is there, mirroring "Wilson." ETA: And he probably did the arteriogram himself, being House.

No way he would be able to self operate. Is this is the case, he could be asking for amputation this time. He admitted to regret his decision in Help Me.

An arteriogram is a radiological procedure. I can't figure out how that could be done outside a hospital. And another clot would be debilitatingly painful and life-threatening. House once catheterized himself. I wonder if he has a very high pain threshold.

Cuddyclothes- 05-04-2011

I'm guessing he did it in the hospital, and that he's in a hospital bathroom. His bathroom doesn't have a plastic shower curtain. In the picture of Cuddy, the tiles are the same brownish.

blacktop- 05-05-2011

In "Now What?" the season seven premiere, the scene of House and Cuddy nestled together enoying the "special bath" clearly shows a plastic shower curtain next to his bath tub. I think that House is at home as he performs his self-surgery. Wilson at House's bedside recalls the poignant scene of Cuddy holding House's hand at the end of "Wilson's Heart" after his brain surgery. And most importantly, it references House's delayed arrival at her bedside in "Bombshells" this season.

I'm reminded of Wilson waking up from his liver donation surgery to see House at his bedside. That shot of Wilson helping a post-surgical House walk also reminded me of House leaning on Amber in "97 Seconds."

I wonder why Cuddy is wearing what seems like winter clothing in the picture? Even though some nights still drop down to the 50s here in Central New Jersey, no one is wearing dark sweaters and high boots in May. Any speculation?
