Reality is Almost Always Wrong: Spoiler Discussion Thread

I couldn't sleep last night, so I did some thinking. That picture of House in, what we hope and think, Wilson's hotelroom. Wouldn't it be sweet if he's there because of those very early spoilers(which were generally seen as foilers), in which Wilson was talking on the phone with someone who he clearly had slept with. House heard part of that conversation, because I remember the script saying that Wilson didn't want to tell him anything to avoid jinxing, or something. So, House is investigating Wilson's lovelife once again. Yeah, probably not, but wouldn't it be fun?

The same thought occured to me. If House is in Wilson's hotel room and Wilson isn't there then House has to be looking for something. The only two reasons he would be looking for something is because a) he thinks Wilson is sick or b) he thinks Wilson is seeing someone. Of course, if Wilson is there and House just popped over to hang then this is all a moot point.

Oh my god how badly do I wish those foilers were true? SO BADLY! I think I would quite possibly die of happiness if Wilson were in a mysterious relationship, House got possessive and searched his hotel room, and it turned out Wilson were dating a man. OH MY GOD. Greatness.

Ooh and WOW! If Peter Blake's got credit for 4x01, it is a GOOD SIGN. He's the one who gave us such Hoyaytastic episodes as "Fools for Love" ("Big romantic weekend in the Poconos could change everything"), "The Mistake" ("I'm gay. Oh, that's not what you meant. It does explain a lot though. No girlfriend, always with Wilson, obsession with sneakers..."), and "Safe" ("I was waiting out there! For hours!" "Yeah well I need a lot of foreplay."). He's gotten writing credit for three other, less homoerotic scripts as well. Yes, yes, I know that the person given credit for writing an episode isn't always the one who penned the squee-worthy specific dialogue bits we love to quote, but YAY! First episode subtext, anyone? I could use some after the four month hiatus.

I have to say that the signs for 4x01 are oh so promising Siriusly

From the spoiler thread The survivor thing plays out over 8 episodes. David Shore: "It's classic House sadistic behavior." So can this please qualify as the season arc in the place of any "villians?" Wonder if the hot woman is the same woman I thought was hot in the promos (with the long black superhero hair). 8) • Edi Gathegi is duckling #18, and plays a black Mormon. Interesting, wonder if this'll come up in the first ep or be revealed later. Countdown to House's first joke about temple garments in 3, 2, 1 . . . • Kal Penn is #6. His character thinks the game show thing is cool. I hope KP's character isn't going to be some thick surfer guy. Already saw him wearing a hoodie in the promo—bit under-dressed for a fellow, isn't it? I'd hate to see him as some kind of wannabe sycophant. •Olivia Wilde has long brown hair. Can't see her # in the photo. House can't quite figure her character out. Fine, so long as "can't quite figure out her character" ≠ yet another :vomit: love interest. ETA: Jinx Sauty!

Please, please, all I ask is that there is no burgeoning attraction between the two of them. Also, I'm kinda praying for the plastic surgeon to hit on Wilson. :twisted: eta: Question marks. David Shore: "We're adding another couple actors to the regular cast and we haven't figured out who they'll be yet, so we figured we'll do it this way." This makes me so nervous and not in a good way. Also, I'm kinda praying for the plastic surgeon to hit on Wilson Yes please, that would be really awesome, especially(as HTR wrote) if Wilson is down with that and House isn't(as saara_zaara wrote).

I still can't figure out why they want to add actors to the regular cast, I just don't understand it. It wasn't broken so it doesn't need fixing. Aaargh, must not obsess over this...
