Any one got any ideas on what 13 might have been in jail for? I'm guessing illegal drugs.

I think it would have been a huge disappointment of House as a character if he had made a promise as he did to Dominika (even if it was all to spite Cuddy) and then let Dominika hanging only because he didn't like that Cuddy did not react or try to do anything. The only thing that baffles me about House is that it had to be a hot chick for House to help her out. It makes him look very shallow. I agree with the part about House having to fulfill his obligations. I think he chooses Dominika because he wants everyone (including Cuddy) to think that it's also about sex and that he's ready for another relationship, no matter how shallow; when he shows Wilson his graph on how much he benefits financially he expressly mentions that he's saving on hookers and when he introduces Dominika to the team he says that she is 'doing' him. If he admits that he isn't having sex with her, then it will be obvious that he isn't over Cuddy.

I wouldn't have been surprised or disappointed in House, had he broken his arrangement with Dominika. Imo accepting collateral damage and/or taking advantage of someone for his own interests would have been perfectly in character. Remember how he sabotaged Foreman's job interview in 'The Jerk' pretty much out of sheer spite? And imo, picking a beautiful woman didn't make House look shallow (well not more than usual) because I thought his main goal was to make Cuddy jealous and also find a suitable substitue for her. So of course he had to pick someone who was "worthy competition" for Cuddy.

I hadn't thought about House showing Wilson the graph (which I even thought was kind of cute, his juvenile way of telling Wilson how he would save some money). And now that I think better of it, you're right about the sex part. House should not be expected to give this kind of help just out of pure charity. Now I can perfectly see House getting some sex in exchange, which is why I hope what he told Dominika at the end is just because the breakup with Cuddy is too recent.

(He did give a silly giggle at her in one of the scenes I saw.) If they're going to add a new female character, couldn't they for once add one that a) doesn't look like a model b) is intellligent and not a caricature of some kind? This part was just silly. Wilson has no trouble hooking up with a hot chick in a bar (You Must Remember This) but he giggles nervously when this other girl smiles at him and touches his arm? Meh! I actually hoped that House would stay married with this girl because he made a commitment to help her get a green card. At least it's consistent with the attitudes of the creators of the show when it comes to women. Remember that cool Asian doctor on the show before Masters (ugh) showed up? She was too old, not glam enough, and too intelligent/witty. For them, I hasten to say. Instead, we get 13, who is so deep and fascinating. I've gotten to like her, but let's not kid ourselves. As I said on the Props thread, House is wearing his watch again in the promo. My theory is that 13 went to jail for stealing House's watch.

I think 13 went to jail for killing Saint Doris Egan....one of the last decent writers  Oh & while I remember I asked GY about 13/timeline & he answered me.... Me: Seriously, 13 in jail for a year? Cuddy told her sister in ep15 her & were only together a few months? Timeline?? GY: ha. good point! we actually jump a bit between episodes but point taken. stop paying such good attention!

I am frustrated that we did not see any feedback from Cuddy's relationship with House at work, from an administrative point of view, when she ended it. And what about Rachel? She was beginning to like House, do we have to believe she will get over it easily, or are we just not gonna hear anything about it any more? I am concerned for this child (and I really liked this little girl, she's cute!). And any ideas about why House would still be quoting Pulp Fiction, after Two Stories? (I'm running in circles, I know).

Last Ausiello : I get that Huddy is over and over for good (I've been told it many times now), but what is the point in hammering that House's marriage is for good? Is the only way to make people interested trying to upset them? Seriously, I would have gone for a break up without that marriage plot. It just sounds sillier and sillier...

sdemar- 03-28-2011

As a Huddy, I am disappointed on how they handled the whole romantic relationship between House and Cuddy. The breakup done in that shocking manner only served to make Cuddy look like a cold and unforgiving partner. Sadly for me, I thought there was a lot of potential in that storyline. To add salt to the wound, we found out the sole purpose of putting them together was to break them up so they were never serious about it to begin with. As far as House's new wife, I don't expect it to last but frankly, what do I know? So I suspect the AS is going to be POW and not the mother-in-law. I am more interested in what the title, "Moving On" means? Is House leaving PPTH? If so, are we all going to be in the dark all summer as to who is signed on for Season 8?

Right now, this is a little too much for me. I can bear a little angst, and waiting for turns and stories, but I am getting more upset than happy to wait for the rest. I can't decide if it is worth waiting for, and sadly, I can't let go. I invested too much time and interest in this character to just decide : I don't like it any more, I should better do anything else. If there is really a good story to come, I'll be ready to apologize to TPTB or whoever. And I'll be happy to. But frankly, they are making it hard to trust them. I can't, absolutely can't, buy this marriage storyline. It makes House look dumber than he is (or that I thought he was). Maybe it is the point? Maybe he really need a new life and family and he will raise kids with his new wife? Of course, this is Ausiello : I remember the one-night stand last year.... At least, it would have been worth to try with Wilson, this time. Didn't HL say that, should the serie go long enough, House would roll over them all? Maybe I am having trouble with change, too. I feel stuck to a little kid attitude, saying I don't want this. What I feel comforting is that I am not the only one dumbfounded. I have never followed any show before. So I wonder, was is this way in X-Files last years? On a brighter note, there is *some* continuity. In last year's finale, Cuddy told House : "I'm moving on. Wilson's moving on. " This year, someone seems to move on.

I think that season 8 will only have House as a regular character and the rest will do guest spots, because I feel House is the one moving on to pastures new and not the others.

It seems like a logical step, but I don't see how it would be "shaking it up". House adjusting to a "normal" life? When it is canon that he never could stay hired before?? I have hard time feeling thrilled with that, but I think that's just me.

Earlier Ausiello quote: I’m told the producers of this unnamed broadcast series are planning to kill off the fan favorite either in the season finale or soon after the show returns next season. Then a later quote: Question: There’s a rumor going around that Wilson will die in the season finale of House. Say it ain’t so, Ausiello! —Cherie Ausiello: It ain’t so. There are no major deaths coming up on House. This season. Nobody dies this season he says. So, there is still the possibility that one of House’s major characters is going to die in next season’s first episodes. I guess if a major character in another show dies in this season’s finale I may relax about the possibility of someone on House leaving, but maybe even that is not a sure thing. The next few months should be interesting, waiting to see who signs new contracts. how a certain Broadway play is doing, etc.

Predicting a possible death on House is so easy!! You can't lose.

The next few months should be interesting, waiting to see who signs new contracts Will this be info that would get out in the public domain? Anyone know? I know the word got out when Hugh received a raise and extended his contract because I am sure he would rather that it had remained secret. So would we also find out about the rest of the cast? I know everyone has their favorite besides Hugh and I know I do, too.
