I just hope that Wilson hasn't become surplus to requirements for the writers now that they have House & Cuddy and apparently her family to write about. GY started the rumour that RSL has left the show and since then he has refused to comment on it.

Gobblin- 12-04-2010

I think if RSL has left that will be a huge factor in Hugh's decision to extend his contract beyond season 8 if asked. Personally, i wouldn't want to watch a whole season without Wilson....thats just not right.

Bea- 12-04-2010

From what we've heard, Wilson's going to be present at Cuddy's birthday dinner, too. And what would be the point of breaking Sam and Wilson up, if there's no follow up for his character and how he deals with it? And if they can show us Amber and Wilson shopping for a mattress, a whole storyline involving Foreman's brother, Chase's father and flashbacks to Thirteen's childhood, I don't see anything wrong with introducing Cuddy's mom and sister, to be honest.

GY likes to stir the pot and rile people up. He gets a kick out of seeing people worrying about a possible storyline or whathaveyou. I have no doubt that RSL is coming back next season. I'm also curious what'll happen with Wilson, I was hoping for jealous Wilson I was hoping for that too. However, since Sam had just broken up with him, maybe we will see something of jealous Wilson. I mean, maybe seeing House/Cuddy together and supposedly working through their issues and perhaps becoming close than ever, could cause some seeds of jealousies in Wilson. Even though he had no problem with House asking him to leave since Cuddy was coming over, that doesn't mean that if it happens a few more times Wilson won't be a little upset over it. From what we've heard, Wilson's going to be present at Cuddy's birthday dinner, too Yup, I remember reading that. I still wonder the reason. Is it to give Wilson some company since Sam left him, or is it to give House some backup during the dinner? Especially since House didn't didn't make a good impression the first time. And if they can show us Amber and Wilson shopping for a mattress, a whole storyline involving Foreman's brother and flashbacks to Thirteen's childhood, I don't see anything wrong with introducing Cuddy's mom and sister, to be honest I agree. Especialy since House is now in a serious committed relationship with Cuddy. It makes sense that he would eventually have some interaction with her family.

I guess Wilson would only go if RSL wanted to quit, since they made it clear last year that House and Wilson were okay. If RSL really wanted to go, there is no way they could keep him, no contract as been renewed until now, right? But RSL said that a little work schedule and a big salary were good for him, so I guess he'll stay. And TPTB know that Wilson is a big part of why we are watching. LE contract isn't renewed, either. I do hope they won't kill her at the end of the season (I saw some worrying pics of Cuddy dressed as a patient, for surgery). ETA :I posted said photo in the spoiler thread .

I have a horrible feeling something will happen to Cuddy in the final & will be left open due to her contract ending we will be kept guessing all summer (Just like Jorja Fox/Sara Sidle in the CSI Season 7 finale) Much discussion was had about that pic on the House/Cuddy board & most agreed she is wearing a patient gown, but they were only filming episode 14/15 when that pic was taken. Makes sense for her sister showing up if she is having an Op of some sort.

I agree with you that it is too soon in the filming for this Op to be fatal.... :P I do hope LE stays (she seems pretty happy with this job) and Cuddy is safe. I don't want a whole angsty summer and I don't want the writers to make House miserable....again. (Is there some petition we could sign?)

As a general rule though House finales with the exception of season 6 seems to end on a downer.... Season 1 - Stacy returned married, depressed House. Season 2 - House was shot Season 3 - His team left Season 4 - He was indirectly responsible for his bestfriends girlfriends death AND was in a bus crash AND had dangerous brain surgery Season 5 - House went to the crazy house Season 6 - He totally hit that Season 7 - ?? Wilson leaves? Cuddy has an accident? I will guess now it will be something that tests their relationship (if they are still together at that point)

Season 7 : he might climb the curve back, and be a little happier? ( I am too hopeful, am I?)

I don't know why people are suddenly climbing the "Is Wilson leaving?" bandwagon. It's rumor run amuck, I think. As to the photo posted in the spoilers only thread. GY posted that a couple of weeks ago, when they were filming a story which also sounds like it includes dream sequences involving each of the cast. I wouldn't read anything into it.

Yeah, I had considered/hoped for something like that too, but somehow I doubt that's what's going to happen. Wilson may become depressed and lonely, but he seems to be more the type to spend lots of time at work instead of competing with Cuddy for time with House. Although jealousy/neediness can manifest itself in many forms. I could see Wilson frequently and unexpectedly turning up at House's apartment with takeout food, to escape the solitude of his huge condo and stuff like that. I'm also wondering, if it weren't for House/Cuddy, would Wilson ask House to move back in with him? Or even with House being in a relationship, maybe Wilson's going to ask him? Would be kind of fun, because that's what House predicted in his session with Nolan last season ;). But maybe Wilson would like House to move back in with him, but won't ask him because he thinks House will refuse out of pride?

sdemar- 12-04-2010

I don't see a "jealous" Wilson. It doesn't seem to be in his nature. As Hugh said, he wants best for both House and Cuddy. I can see House making sure he spends time with him because even though he won't come out and say it, he wants to make sure Wilson is OK. As far as Wilson, I can see him being at least a little despondent over the loss of Sam. Whether he ultimately wanted it or not, to be rejected is not a good feeling.

scrivo35- 12-05-2010

What would be good if House paid people to spend time with Wilson and we get to see Wilson do karaoke with Chase and Foreman!!!.

GY started the rumour that RSL has left the show and since then he has refused to comment on it. How did I miss this? I just checked GY's tweets and didn't see anything there. What did he say/tweet/whatever? I wouldn't be at all surprised if RSL left the show. Really bummed out, though. The show isn't House without Wilson. Ditto Cuddy. Much as I dislike the current arc, her character is crucial to the show.
