Does anyone really doubt that House is the one that actually starts this prank war, possibly with something worse than what she has done to him? He said that he plans to humiliate her. Frankly, I think it's funny, and not really worse than Wilson dosing him with anti-depressants, breaking his $12,000 guitar, and filing through his cane. Oh you mean best friends, House and Wilson dosing each other, House tricking Wilson into doing a break-in and House sticking a sleeping Wilson's hand in warm water causing him to wet himself. I hope it is Cuddy because whatever House does to humiliate Cuddy will be 10 times worse than substituting his vicodin with laxatives. Of course it could be the new team in cohoots with the old team. Now that would be hilarious :) as long it doesn't include a scene of Cameron wiping House's ass. To sum up, Wilson in scrubs is hot. That is all I need to know. :) WORD to that - that is all I need too

Thanks for the promo marykir! But.. but.. WHY is there a clip from GA in there? They often use clips from episodes other than the one they're supposedly promoting. There are a few clips that get used a lot. I suppose it's easier than wading through the episode footage looking for appropriate clips that don't give too much away. Who's going to take one for the team and go down to 7-Eleven and flip through the TV section? Well, I'd walk down to the corner grocery (I'm hungry and out of food which needs no preparation...), but they don't seem to put magazines out until the cover date. Which means they're usually a week or two behind on US.

Marykir, can you describe the new bit with Wilson in the OR. I saw the screencaps but I can't see the vid.

marykir- 10-28-2007

Closeup of Wilson: "What is going on?" Closeup of hand with funky blood vessels and cut House: "The blood's turned to sludge" Shot of House in the OR with Foreman looking on from the observation gallery. That's it. I can't tell whether the bit with Wilson and the bit with House are from the same scene. The bit with Wilson could be from the "mind if we play through" scene with the patient in scrubs. But the bit with the hand and Foreman looking on looks like the patient is on the table. Maybe. Maybe House just grabbed his hand and cut it :)

Original "laxative" spoiler....
I'll post this here since someone questioned the source. Mods, please move it if it should go elsewhere. Us Weekly - Nov 5, 2007 3 Stars Glib Doc House (Hugh Laurie) continues to grill his would-be medical team (six hopefuls remain) as he confronts the odd case of a man (Frank Whaley) who mimics the personalities around him. Though this Survivor style season still feels out of sync, Laurie and the cast have never been livelier (SOMEONE REPLACES HOUSE'S VICODIN WITH LAXATIVES!) (my caps). Also promising: disgruntled Foreman (Omar Epps) finally returns to the hospital.

Us Weekly - Nov 5, 2007 Wait a minute, the episode this summary describes is Mirror Mirror, which is airing this week, right? That means it's airing October 30th, before November so why is it in the Nov. issue? Am I just getting confused or is the date wrong?

If you looked around, you'd probably find some "December" issues of certain magazines on the shelves.

marykir- 10-28-2007

US Weekly's cover date is the last date the issue should be on newstands, or something weird like that. Entertainment Weekly is the same way, the Nov 2nd issue has TV listings for Oct 2nd - Nov 4th.

LightMyCandle- 10-28-2007

Okay, I suck with magazine dates, they always confuse me.

galaxygirl- 10-28-2007

So the upcoming episode is with Frank Whaley, if my spoiler memory serves me right, does that mean that RSL actually gets a scene with someone he worked with before for a change?

daughterofcomaguy- 10-28-2007

I subscribe to nearly every mag known to mankind, so they just show up in my mailbox. The cover date is always *after* the sale (or mailing) date. To stay OT, if House takes as many opoids as I have had to in the past, he won't notice the first two (or ten) laxative pills. Hopefully we won't have to see him on the toilet (been there, seen that, thank you).

vitawash99- 10-28-2007

Thanks, docg! I never know when US Weekly is going to show up. EW is very reliably Friday or Saturday, but sometimes US doesn't show up until like, the following Tuesday. I think the postal employees steal it and read it or something. And I was kinda thinking the same thing about the laxative's actual purpose...

LogicalLilly- 10-28-2007

I e-mailed a Canadian friend of mine to ask if she's actually seen the spoiler and just received her answer. She said that Cuddy is standing in front of a desk in her white suit and saying that she is cutting (or mixing) House's Vicodin stash with laxatives. My friend lamented that "Cuddy has lost so much of her authority as House's boss that that's what she's reduced to." She did not say to whom Cuddy was speaking. She also mentioned this from the promo: House in the lecture room asking Cuddy as she leaves with Foreman "Just in case I need them, where will Dr. Foreman be keeping my balls?" I don't understand what Cuddy is thinking here. Did she forget that the last time she had Foreman oversee House, it was a failure? Did Foreman forget that? She even *told* Foreman in "Failure to Communicate" that she only did it because she was told to do so. Foreman hasn't done anything in the meantime to inspire new confidence in his leadership abilities, or in his ability to control House, so this makes Cuddy's decision to bring Foreman back as House's keeper rather ridiculous, in my opinion. The only thing that could make this laxative thing *more* unprofessional on Cuddy, the hospital administrator's part, would be if she wore a bustier and hotpants while she gloated over her joke. Maybe this will play out much better on Tuesday, but it doesn't sound like a good episode for Cuddy. I miss the old Cuddy.

galaxygirl- 10-28-2007

If this is how things will play out I will be very unamused with Cuddy. I also miss season 1 kick ass!Cuddy.

vitawash99- 10-28-2007

Okay...that's even weirder. :? But it does make more sense that House wouldn't notice if she just added some pills to the stash. He's still taking the pain meds, then. Is she prescribing for him, then?
