They might just be self-conscious being filmed as a couple at work or talking about House or doing their new jobs.
I don't quite know why but I find the idea of Chase and Cam being self-conscious in front of the camera to be hilarious. That has so much potential for cute!Chase, I can't wait. As for Cam, she's been such an in your face person for so long, I don't know why she'd be nervous unless they ask her why she's constantly hanging around House.

Lol. I thought the same thing. Chase has been pretty consisently portrayed as a rather private person, so I it makes sense to me that he would be camera shy. I'm so used to thinking of Cameron as being a being pushy and in your face, however, that it's going to be different to see her like this.

Hopefully, it'll be refreshing, if I can just get a few minutes of her this season without that smug smile, I'll be happy. *crosses fingers*

I'm curious to know who's playing the over the hill rock star in Games. With House's love of music, especially rock music, this could be a really fun episode, so I hope it's someone good for HL to play off of.
Also, noticed in the episode summary for Ugly there is a character named "Jenny", and one that says father. I looked up the actress on imdb and she's a kid, so I'm very much hoping this means clinic duty for House which I've so desperately missed. And also because I love his interactions with kids.
I was intrigued by this as well. Over the hill rock star with a history of drugs and civil disobedience could be House's evil twin (or separated at birth twin). I think House might really connect with this patient, and I am very, very excited to see where they go with that episode.

I'm really looking forward to the over-the-hill rock star bit. That could end up being a lot of fun.
I could understand Chase and Cameron being uncomfortable - their job is difficult enough without wondering how it's going to look to the outside world. I'm sure the documentary folks would want them to just forget that the camera is there, but that can be difficult if you're not accustomed to it. This might especially be true if their own little bits of House-ish behavior pop up in the process. (I also wonder if it's meant to be a sort of meta-thing, since both JS and JM have been acting in front of the camera since they were quite young.)

The board may have been started by HoYayers, but they've welcomed everyone with open arms. I don't think of this as House/Wilson board. I think of it as the best place to discuss the show, no matter what your bias is. I'm amused by HoYay, but I don't really ship H/W on the show or in fan fiction. I'm not offended by the ship and actually prefer H/W to House/Cameron or House/Most Anybody Else, but when it comes down to it, I'm a House/Nobody shipper.
I suppose I'm a little obtuse, but I had no idea that the HoYay members were the founders of this board, but I love them for doing it. I came here because the other place had become ridiculously restrictive and quick to shut people down for almost no reason. I was afraid to say anything for fear of being banned. Here I found most, if not all, of the most thoughtful and insightful members had migrated.
As for ships, I guess I'm with HL (Oh, how I wish I were with HL...............)
sorry, had a moment there.....I could see any and all relationships as possible so no relationship or lots of relationships are cool for me.
I still secretly hold out for House to have a relationship with the dwarf mom. They totally clicked....Care for a spin?

Seriously, though, they did have a lot of chemistry.

I'm really trying not to take offense at, or read too much into, the anty-slash vibes surrounding this board lately. It is well known that the views on this show vary. We're not trying to force our views on you - we deserve the same in return. I'm not goint to put het goggles on (I have no slash ones, no need for them with this show) when I leave the HoYay pound.

I want to make a comment about this, but I'm sure this is not the appropriate place, so I'll go to post in the Hoyay Thread.

I don't know, Jouse, if your comment was directed at my post above. My comment was intended as an observational joke based on the fact that I, like I think some others, had no idea that this board was founded by That Other Place's HoYay-ers. Being as that's the case, the ho-yay-ness of these boards is something I now understand (I didn't before). I never went to that thread at the other place, so I didn't know. So I did think it was a bit ho-yay heavy over here. Now I understand why.
My comment was not intended as as dig of any sort. As someone who sees House as heterosexual, I was seeing the frequent referring to House and Wilson in a "ship" as something taken as a given in this community, hence my observation to that effect. Apologies for offending anyone.
I'm curious in the "Ugly" episode as to what causes House to question his motives in hiring his new staff. (safely back on topic)

My take - its a long time coming. Though the survivor arc is amusing, its IMO fundamentally fairly stupid & its having a number of negative consequences in terms of both patient care & by extension, apparently, Foreman's reappearance dragged in by Cuddy. So I'm glad they are finally confronting the issue (I hope) & this might be the inflection point in driving quickly to the new team and getting back on track with the medicine & House (I'm never going to forgive DS for the crass manipulation around 13 & the patient death in 97 sec. I don't feel any sympathy for her, she came off as incompetent and should have been fired).

I hope he questions his motives enough to realize he's made a huge mistake and try to remedy it by bringing back the team that he can actually work with effectively. The only thing that gets me is that it's taking him THIS long to question it. As soon as the guy and his dog died, he should have realized the complete stupidity of his survivor game.

One of the problems you face with spoilers is that the spoiler discussion thread can easily end up being "discussion by spoiled people" rather than "discussion of spoilers." Something that might otherwise end up in a character discussion thread, the bitterness thread, the wherever wishful thinking goes thread, etc. ends up *here* because it's based on spoilers or speculation about spoilers.

I think midway through "97 Seconds", House did want out of the game. However, he still needs to build a team and this is the track he's on. He may not know how to get off that track without ending up right back where he was at the start of S4.
House is an odd mix of making quick (if not rash) medical decisions and being indecisive (or uncaring) about most everything else. He seems to need to "worry" things, let them roll around in the back of his mind, before he faces up to any sort of interpersonal issue. It will be interesting to see how the episode reveals the questioning of motive. Not only the trigger, but how House goes about resolving the issue in his mind. Does he end up brooding alone? Wandering the halls having odd partial or tangential conversations? (with whom?) Making a rash decision? There's potential for good drama here. Which probably means we'll get about 5 seconds of brooding at the end of the episode while some sad song with meaningful lyrics plays in the background :)
That doesn't even get to what he does once the decision is made. Does he eliminate new kids he thought he'd keep? Does he bring back new kids he already fired? Does he try to get Chase and Cameron back even though they've already moved on to positions of more responsibility? Chase, at least, House feels doesn't *need* to be a fellow any longer. He's good enough to be out on his own. Cameron seems to be thriving in her new role. So - what is the purpose of the diagnostics department? Is it simply to take cases other departments have given up on or don't have time to handle? Or is training more doctors an important part of the department's purpose? If the training aspect is important, I think you have to end up with new kids on the team even if it makes the team less effective in the short term than it has been. Although the old team wasn't doing all that well at the end of S3 ;)

From spoiler thread
According to the latest issue of EW (or Us, I forget), "someone" replaces House's Vicodin with laxatives - good times!
Oh, God. This could be good or bad depending on who does it. *is nervous*
