Thanks.
My English has improved recently, probably because of obsessive re-watching of old epi on the net.....

The House/Wilson promo for the next epsiode, Black Hole is awesome. It harkens back to the Social Contract. I love the continuity. The writers are doing such a beautiful job of pulling back the layers on Wilson and House/Wilson.
I don't care where House lives as long as I get my dose of House/Wilson. Those two are just awesome together.

recents epi looked happier, but it is mainly distractions for me : the man is not well. He has tried to get better and had absolutely no praise about it : on the contrary, he goes on losing everything : his mind, his place, the hope of a relationship with Cuddy, Wilson threatened to bail him out two times at least, even Cameron walked out.
vicpei, your use of the English language is strong and lovely, no need for apologies at all.
As you have noted, I think that what we are watching in recent episodes is in fact House on a disguised downward spiral. We don't recognize it for what it is because of all the jolly fun. The theme that we were tossed at the end of last season was the gap between reality and illusion. That motif has been carried forward in the current season in the storylines for both House and Cuddy. She has been swept up in the illusion of her pursuit of an idealized relationship with a man whose facade does not match his interior self. I feel sure that her disillusionment is ahead.
Likewise, House has been living an illusion this season, reflected in the escalating tone of frivolity and frothiness that has characterized his non-patient related antics both in and out of the hospital in recent episodes. My supposition is that House is bored, sad, disappointed and suffering since the revelations of "Known Unknowns." His way of dealing with his emotional and physical pain at the moment is to seek distractions in elaborate jokes, outlandish pranks, and mindless socializing. These seem to be his alternatives to falling back into the Vicodin. But I am guessing that they won't work for much longer.
I agree with vicpei's analysis that booze rather than a relapse into Vicodin seems a logical next step downward for House.
I think that in contrast to House and Cuddy, Wilson is the one character who has truly grown and moved forward this year. He has finally quit Amber's apartment, thrown off the depression that cloaked him since her death, and is finding a healthy equilibrium for his life. The spoilers about the arrival of Wilson's ex-wife and House's return to his own place fit well into this turn in a new direction for the next phase of Wilson's life.
My guess is that TPTB are overloading on fluffy storylines now (speed-dating and Wilson!faux pron crammed into a single episode?) to set us up for a major turnaround at the end of the season. Sort of the pattern we saw in episodes like "One Day, One Room" and "House Training" which had frivolous and playful first halves followed by breath-taking reversals in the second half-hours.
Or for a more recent example of this heart-stopping turn-on-a-dime move, we have only to look at the trip House and Freedom Master took to the amusement park in "Broken."

Just saw the picture from Hughbunnies. So Alvie is really back (yeah!), meaning the whole drinking/bars thing is probably legit too (it was in the same episode description). I would add that I thought the spiraling down implied mainly alcohol, beacause except the fake-drunk "I love her" to Lucas, we didn't see House touch a drink from the beginning of the season. Not even a beer at speed dating. He is probably still clean and sober.

Is that Lydia in that picture?

Is that Lydia in that picture?
I don't think so, she doesn't look like Franka Potente, her hair is shorter, and more red.
Episode 22 is called "Help me" : it would balance nicely with last year's finale. Maybe this year House really asks for help, not only hallucinates it. Maybe this year Cuddy really helps him (I should hope so).
Maybe this year we will be given a hopeful cliffhanger? (yeah, it does sound like them  )

I wonder what part Alvie plays? (Like you, I don't think this is Lydia in the picture, though maybe we're supposed to think so-an anti-spoiler perhaps.) As House was unwittingly instrumental in changing Alvie's attitude towards his meds and thus his presumed recovery, could it be Alvie who helps him this time?

From what I read (and I still can't remember where :( ), House leaves Wilson's condo and goes back to his place to discover that Alvie has been living here for a while ; he tries to get along with Alvie as a new friend, in spite of Wilson, then lets go and asks Alvie to leave to retreat on his own. So I don't think help is coming from Alvie, either.
I so hope it is from Cuddy...but it is only hope, no clue about that.

I was also wondering if it was F. Potente but the woman on the picture doesn't look like her.
What about the karaoké scene?
Maybe Alvie, House and Chase  end up in a bar and drink a lot.
"Help me" can also be about Dr Nolan coming back? I must admit, I would love if it's not only about him or Cuddy but also Wilson, Chase and the other three. House is the center of the universe and there are other people than Cuddy. It's probably too much to hope.
In other news, they are planning to bring J. Mo back for three or four episodes next season. So does that mean a storyline for Cameron (that can also mean a storyline for Chase)?

Oh, I do hope so. They really messed up with the WTF ? manner of her departure and I say that with all the love in the world. :)

Hopefully it will not involve Chase. Their issues should be solved in Ep 17 IMHO, and gosh I do hope it'll never come up again. Never been a fan of Cameron and their relationship just seemed so wrong and strained all of the time. I definately don't want another Chase/Cameron arc.
Since I do not assume that they'll bring her back pregnant (insert big roaring laugh here), I would like to think that she returns to PPTH as a patient. That would be the only scenario I would like to see. :innocent:

This is why we have to leave it to the writers I guess!

The woman in the pictures with House and Alvie is apparently episode 21's patient of the week, so far as I've heard. I believe she has some kind of memory loss, or something like that? Not sure exactly.

Damn, damn, damn.   House has been on for six seasons and I liked one season finale and fell madly in love with another. All the others went into my craptastic file. I get where they're going with the shout back to Broken. And yes it makes sense; Dr. Nolan, Alvie, and possibly Lydia coming back. I loved the Nolan sessions and Lydia's piece. I wasn't a big fan of nutty Alvie but I'm hoping he grows on me. But why so little Wilson? I guess I have to keep keep telling myself - BE NOT AFRAID -RSL is signed for Season 7.

Yep. We will see.
But it will be weird if Cameron comes back and that doesn't involved Chase.
But why so little Wilson?
I have the impression there's going to ba a lot of Wilson till the end.
It's working so well that I don't think writers are planning to not make him appear in the final. Be not afraid idonmatrix! :D
I just hope it's not going to be a Huddy feast. It's why I'm happy to read that the characters of the first episode are coming back.
