I think Cuddy's role right now is to try and convince us why Foreman still needs to be on the show. Know what's an even better way to do this? Having him in a story-line that's actually interesting. And giving Cuddy her spine back. As much as I love emotional, trying-not-to-break Cuddy, it just makes me miss hardcore kick-ass Cuddy more. :(
It would be interesting to see Chase's mom.
Oh yes. Or his dad. Like still really sick from lung caner. Or Kayla. I'd take Kayla. Oh, this Chase withdrawal.I wanted to see Wilson's brother, assuming that he is dead which isn't known so I'll just give that up,
I want Wilson's brother live to be a POTW. Because that would only be the most amazing episode ever.
and this show being the way it is we'll probably be stuck dealing with Cameron's PDH if anything.
...I hate how right you are.

It makes me think there's a big arc brewing that explores how House has impacted her effectiveness as the hospital's chief administrator.
I think you have got it exactly. I like the idea of seeing Cuddy as a vulnerable, tough, angry and even confused professional woman with starkly conflicting desires and no easy solutions to fall back on.

I just watched the promo again. Is House on Wilson's couch in his office or just sprawled out in a chair? Shallow note, HL is hot in that purple T-shirt. :P
I like the idea of pushing the House/Cuddy relationship this year, romantic or not, I would have no objections to having it be explored or pushed to its limits, like Wilson's was last year, may I never have to suffer that again.

If you're speaking of Guardian Angels (GA*) then it looks like the scene takes place in Wilson's office.
I don't think the House/Cuddy thing is meant to be romantic. I think the idea is to explore the effects of Cuddy's baby bump wishes and complex feelings for House impact her role as PPTH's DOM. It seems that the TPTB already get that S3 was dark and painful and disruptive for viewers. I really hope we get to see the impact of Cuddy's personal and professional decisions in the context of the broader PPTH environment. In S3, it was touched on in Cuddy's conversation with Tritter.

I know that they're in Wilson's office, what I meant was is House lying on the couch in there or a chair?

Oh lord, please let him be lying on Wilson's couch. I can't pull up the vid from Marykir's site. Can someone pull that particular pic and post a link. I'm willing to sell my soul

It sure looks like he's lying on Wilson's couch (squee)
It's on You tube now too...courtesy of Tenna in the HoYay thread

As I have nothing to add to any other conversation: H/W OTP
ETA, Also check out MaryKir's help section re videos. I could only get sound but she had a link to a download that helped me get the video.

I think this calls for a marriage proposal. Total love for you :D
Alright I guess it's pretty obvious I have no life. It looks like House is leaning back with his arm up above and behind his head. Wilson has a dark plaid pillow on his couch (Resignation). It looks like House is leaning back in a chair but I don't recall Wilson having chairs with high backs. Okay I think this requires more study . . .
There were House promos on American Band tonight. And it does appear that House is prone on Wilson's couch.

I'm pretty sure House is on Wilson's couch, because the balcony door is directly behind him.

So for a second week in a row House is lying down in front of Wilson. Take the hint Jimmy boy.

 Poor clueless Wilson.

Upon even closer inspection, I think you're right.

Made me laugh til I cried.
It's official. Using critical image analysis (hitting the replay and pause buttons over and over gain), researchers Filex1410, LMC and Idon have confirmed that House is lying prone on Wilson's couch. This alone increases the episode's hoysquee worthiness :D
Of course findings from replications of the above-mentioned study are always wlecome

FYI, I just posted this on the spoilers thread - episode summary for ep 6 from futoncritic here
HOUSE IS RECRUITED BY THE CIA TO TREAT AN AGENT WITH AN ILLNESS AS MYSTERIOUS AS HIS PREVIOUS ASSIGNMENT; THE FELLOWSHIP CANDIDATES RACE TO DIAGNOSE A STOCK CAR DRIVER ON "HOUSE" TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 6, ON FOX
Michael Michele Guest-Stars
House is recruited by the CIA to help diagnose a deathly ill agent with an unknown illness. The agent's medical case is being spearheaded by Dr. Samira Terzi (guest star Michael Michele), who offers up very little information about the agent's history or previous assignments. With limited information to go on, House uses some unorthodox methods to try to crack the code and determine a diagnosis in time to save his mystery patient's life. Meanwhile, Foreman faces resistance from the remaining six fellowship candidates when they question his judgment and argue over the diagnosis of a female drag car racer who passed out after a race in the "Whatever It Takes" episode of HOUSE airing Tuesday, Nov. 6 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (HOU-406)
Guest Cast: Amy Dudgeon as Casey; Anne Dudek as Amber; Olivia Wilde as Thirteen; Peter Jacobson as Taub; Kal Penn as Kutner; Andy Comeau as Brennan; Edi Gathegi as Cole; Tom Wilson as Lou; Michael Michele as Samira Terzi; Holmes Osborne as Curtis; Joel Bissonnette as John; Chad Willett as Brian Smith; Nick Warnock as Reporter; Bobbin Bergstrom as Nurse
I really hope Foreman gets the &*@# beaten (metaphorically) out of him by the NKOTB.

So now I have a picture in my mind of Foreman getting his ass kicked by Danny, Donnie, Joe, Jon, & Jordan. (Children of the 90's get it!)
**I have to sing 'New Kids Got Run Over By a Reindeer' to get their names right. Was NOT a fan. Thank you very much!
I'm glad Foreman is getting some resistance and being questioned. But I'm still sad that there's no Chase in any spoilers for the next two episodes.

WORD. I really hope that this serves to teach him a lesson, because apparently getting fired hasn't done a thing to diminish his arrogance. :x
