Um, 13, get out of Wilson's apartment, mmkay? You're spreading your dullness to my happy place. Other than that, the cooking class is going to be great. I wonder why he makes Wilson go too. Wilson already knows how to cook. I really hope TPTB didn't forget that little fact. hi,hi...they hope she look better than and we like her more  . But that`s why she gets probably fired by foreman, because she runs to house and asks for help. Foreman is pissed off. She knows foreman hasn´t the right mojo to be the super-diagnostian :P

Ok, I have to admit that the idea of House talking Wilson into taking cooking with him tickles me to no end. But that one Fox Flash picture of Wilson and Cuddy standing there looking like disappointed parents listening to their child tell them he does not want to go back to school makes me think that House is going to have a pretty ruff time of it when he comes back for Mayfield. I was thinking the same thing. I really hope that they don't go the route of "we know whats better for you than you do". I'm really hoping that Wilson supports House's decision if he feels he's not ready to return yet. :)

So, it looks like RSL forgot to take off his wedding ring in that pic with Cuddy. Either that, or Wilson's been keeping a pretty big secret. :D

Wilson already knows how to cook. I really hope TPTB didn't forget that little fact. Knowing Wilson, he'd say yes to going to a cooking class with House just to keep House company, even if he does know how to cook. I mean, Wilson said "yes" to House moving in. He's already bitten the apple, so to speak. Can't imagine why he'd say no to something relatively minor, like going for a cooking class.

Um, 13, get out of Wilson's apartment, mmkay? You're spreading your dullness to my happy place. Oh lord, that wasn't 13 was it? I agree - is there anywhere in this show she doesn't get her sticky little dull paddy paw prints all over? But maybe 13 will actually become an interesting character this season - now we have all her annoying backstory out of the way. I don't know how she did it, but she even made girl on girl action dull. I mean how do you screw that one up. Anyway - fingers crossed for a lot of fourteen tension, oh who am I kidding. I can't believe I called 'House not wanting to go back to work'! I am going to love watching Cuddy and Wilson pry House away from the cook top.

sautomne- 09-15-2009

HOUSE/WILSON COOKING CLASS!!! YAY! That's going to be comedy gold.

m_supercomputer- 09-15-2009

I'm going to guess the House-13 conversation has something to do with House's decision to go back to work - I kinda doubt his leave-related decision will last more than an episode. And House looks extra-serious there. I was thinking the same thing. I really hope that they don't go the route of "we know whats better for you than you do". I'm really hoping that Wilson supports House's decision if he feels he's not ready to return yet. :) I think Wilson will/would support him on this, once he's sure House is serious about it. He'd want to try to convince House not to if he thinks he's just giving up out of fear, IMO.

He'd want to try to convince House not to if he thinks he's just giving up out of fear, IMO. Yeah, I think Wilson will support him on this too. I'm actually really glad that House doesn't feel he's ready to go back to work, and doesn't want to. Work was always the leash that Wilson and Cuddy used with House, because it was the one thing that House really wanted, and didn't want to give up. "Do this, or you're fired." "You won't be able to work if you're on anti-psych.meds" "You can't do methadone and work in this hospital." Now that House doesn't want to go back to work, I imagine Cuddy and Wilson might be thinking that they have nothing to threaten him with. Now they're forced to deal with him without threats. I wonder if they can even wrap their minds around how to do something like that.

m_supercomputer- 09-15-2009

I think Wilson's generally not threatening House using work so much as giving advice based on House's own motivations - he's always (as long as the show's been going on, anyway) treated his ability to do his job as the most important thing in his life, after all, and even I believe said as much. Which isn't to say that Wilson doesn't manipulate, of course, but I see that as different than threatening, per se. As for Cuddy...she's in a much more difficult position, really, or has been in the past. Given that she's ultimately accountable for everything he does in the workplace as her employee, and his general problem with the concept of authority, there's not much else she can do. The methadone thing was a bit of a different story - it came of the problem the show has with trying to write personal relationships between characters with different levels of power, IMO. I'd like to see House's sabbatical last more than an episode, if only to see what if anything House and Cuddy would possibly talk about when the professional stuff is off the agenda - House and Wilson I think we pretty much know, as we've seen them talk about other things and they'd fall into their general odd-couple-bantering pretty quickly once the topic of work was settled - but I don't know if the show will take the time to go into that.

Um, 13, get out of Wilson's apartment, mmkay? You're spreading your dullness to my happy place. LMC you owe me for a keyboard seeing as my current one now has coffee damage  House/Wilson cooking is made of so much  i may blow up.....

Bea- 09-15-2009

Wilson´s home does look like a warm and cosy shelter indeed, as opposed to House´s gloomy apartment ;). And of course it has to be Thirteen who comes running to House, it couldn´t possibly have been Taub, since he´s lacking a silly nickname and cool cat-eye makeup! And how adorable is that photo with the two of them in aprons ;)? That would be so sweet of Wilson, accompanying House to his cooking class, although he himself doesn´t need one. Hopefully this will take up a huge part of the episode, so that there´s minimal time left for Foreteen and their struggles... The methadone thing was a bit of a different story - it came of the problem the show has with trying to write personal relationships between characters with different levels of power, IMO. but isn´t that fact what makes those interactions interesting? She seemed honestly worried for his life, so she resorted to blackmail. Since she has this authority, she´s constantly tempted to abuse it. It wasn´t the right thing to do, and it may be unprofessional, but I don´t think this is a problem with the writing. It´s one of the things this show has always done, showing genuine human behaviour, precisely because it´s not perfect.

m_supercomputer- 09-15-2009

Hee, well, I suppose to be more precise it isn't so much the show's problem with it so much as *my* problem with how they write it, in that I find the way they do power dynamics in romantic contexts kinda squicky and gross. I judge all writing by how satisfying/interesting I find it, admittedly. *g*

Ariadne- 09-15-2009

Is Wilson still in Amber's old apartment? Thirteen is probably invading Wilson's turf to complain about Foreman, which then gives Foreman an excuse to fire her so that he can spend the next 5 episodes feeling like a heel that he did and visiting her at home. Because you can never get enough of Thirteen. She seemed honestly worried for his life, so she resorted to blackmail. Since she has this authority, she´s constantly tempted to abuse it. Except it so rarely works for her any more. It worked in the pilot episode when she pulled his privileges but since then it's become more of a hollow threat than not because he's wise to it. As he said in Cane & Able, don't make threats unless you're going to back them up. I'd like to see House's sabbatical last more than an episode, if only to see what if anything House and Cuddy would possibly talk about when the professional stuff is off the agenda I'd like to see what they do with that too since it's one of the reasons I have trouble seeing them as a couple because they don't socialize or do friends stuff. House talks music & theory with other people (e.g. patients and the 'would you give up a baby for a life' conversation with Cameron in Sports Medicine) but so far with Cuddy it's been either work or sexual flirting. What do they talk about when it's not about her breasts or his inability to be a good boy?

LightMyCandle- 09-15-2009

Is Wilson still in Amber's old apartment? Yep. I'm hoping that 13 getting fired will give us a break from her, if not for complete episodes, at least get her some reduced screentime for a while. I guess her leaving is why Chase and Cameron have to come back. I don't know how she did it, but she even made girl on girl action dull. I mean how do you screw that one up. LMAO!! You win at life. I think Wilson will be supportive of House's decision. Perhaps not initially, but I think he might appreciate that House doesn't feel ready. Of course, in the meantime, if he's just going to be making a mess of Wilson's kitchen, I can see him getting impatient.

So, it looks like RSL forgot to take off his wedding ring in that pic with Cuddy. Either that, or Wilson's been keeping a pretty big secret. And LE looks like she is wearing slippers. I don't think this is a shot from a scene because they wouldn't let RSL wear his ring and LE's is missing about 6" on her heels. When I look at the pic of Wilson and Cuddy along with the pics of Cuddy, they seem to have a worried or sad look on their face. House seems to have a defeated look on his face in Cuddy's office, which I think is the scene with her and Foreman. I would hope they don't go the route where they are telling House what to do. He just got out of the looney bin. The man needs a hug.
