Wow. It really didn't take long for Foreman to come right to the forefront again, did it? Lucky, lucky us.

Oh, God. Michael Michele. I can hear the sucking from here. (On the other hand, if my crazy uncle could be a spy, I guess anyone could.) Heh. I have a pretty insane aunt who was in the CIA as well. Considering all the crazy people that must be employed there, I'm pretty much never surprised when they miss something big. Maybe that's what the House people want us to latch onto. The crazy. The implausible. The least effective and least believable.

Bailey, that's a very convenient excuse for every young female on the show - doctor, patient or CIA agent - looking like a model :P

sautomne- 10-15-2007

Oh, God. Michael Michele. She gives me the creeps. There's literally no expression in her eyes whatsoever.

So House is on his own in "Whatever it takes?" That's fine by me. I kind of like eps like that, few and far between though they are. I am a little annoyed that Foreman's incharge when he's clearly shown time and time again that the man is just not cut out for this sort of thing. And man, that's *still* more believable than Denise Richards as a nuclear physicist. Words cannot describe my hatred for Denise Richards. As for Wuddy, I don't mind it and I haven't seen near enough evidence that anything will come from it at all.

I'm wondering why Cuddy is putting him in charge anyway, or taking him back after rejecting her way too generous offer.

saara_zaara- 10-15-2007

Didn't the info for the previous ep (Mirror, Mirror) imply that Cuddy hired Foreman back to have a spy on House's team? So its less about competence (otherwise she would have given him the independent team position discussed previously) & more that she's fed up with House's crap finally. So if he's on the team, who else is going to run things when House is gone. He's certainly more senior than the NKOTB in the diagnostics hierarchy, though I wonder if he isn't going to muff it again & need to go running for help. With House gone who will he turn to? During the end of s3 there was a lot of subtle turning to or backing Chase but Chase is off in surgery now. What's Foreman going to do? I can't see him being all successful on his own all of a sudden - Cuddy's going to be riding him for starters plus he's got to manage a much more outgoing and self-assured team than he had at Mercy. What's he going to do when Kuttner sets fire to someone again?

You know what... Foreman should keep the new people to run his own crappy little department and House should get Chase and Cameron back to run an awesome department. Do they need three people? Add Cut Throat Bitch to even it out.

If it's Wilson, I'll be forced to watch cause I just can't resist RSL.

Wow. Foreman the complete FAILURE gets his own team to run and Chase, the guy that can do the job gets zippo? I didn't think the spoilers could piss me off more than they already have but WHOOP! Was I ever wrong. So..when the Foreman hour is over and done, let me know. Then maybe we'll get more than ten seconds/zippo of Chase again and maybe I'll actually give a damn about this show again.

sasmom- 10-15-2007

Love that the idea of House's reputation gets him called in on various interesting cases outside of PPTH and to speak at conferences. Sort of contrasts how House, the genius who, despite his surly anti-social reputation is sought after for his expertise and Foreman who was fired for being off-the-wall without the years and years of built up experience and wisdom (of a sort) House posesses. Foreman may think he's as good as House, but without the years of practice behind him, Foreman is just an arrogant doctor.

I know many of us are not excited about Michael Michele, but let's not allow this to turn into an all out bash-a-thon like the one that happened when her casting was originally announced. It got a bit ugly. So if we start heading that way again and it hijacks the thread, we're going to ask you to move on. Just wanted to give you a heads up...

I get the impression that Chase doesn't want the job. He's doing something else now. He may be the best of the 3 at diagnostics but he never struck me as super-committed to it. It was just something fun and challenging to do for a while. Foreman's the one who really just can't move on and get away from House. Also, I always get super excited about eps where we leave PPTH. Yay! Road trip :D

Yay! Road trip :D My impression is that Chase loved working with House and doing that work. That it challenged him. Maybe not in the beginning, but by the end of last season, I really think he loved it. Foreman is just trying to prove a point. he thinks he can do everything. He's nothing but an arrogant ass without anything/talent to back it up. I'm sure he'd make an excellent head of neurology. But he's not a diagnostician. Chase learned because he has skilz and put the effort in. He wanted House to know he was still at PPTH. I think he wants to do the job. Apparently Cuddy wasn't smart enough to offer to him. ::Shakes head at show:: Oh how I loved ye once. Now...blech.
