I think we have confirmation it's real (or at least, that's how it sounds.) A struggle, sounds like a pretty violent struggle :P

it doesn't resolve ANYTHING. House and Cuddy are exactly where they were before. All a hallucination accomplishes is putting a sex scene on the TV screen
Congratulate yourself for climbing into DS's head...

Though I do think the "I always want to kiss you" line is very un-House.
It does sound like the kind of thing he would say only to himself but he's been doing that "out loud" lately.
The Huddy promo on Fox was an embarassment to me, a House and Cuddy fan. The girlish intake of breath at the end was painful; the music seemingly sarcastic. I would suggest that any Huddy fan skip it. I hope the PR office at Fox has no ties with Shore and Co. (Obviously I'm not its target market) I found it disrespectful of all the great work together from Hugh and Lisa in the past 5 years.
It's probably against the rules for me to type this as I'm not a referee, but if this were a football game, I'd penalize the previous poster 5 yards for unnecessary snarkiness.

I am sooooooooooooooooooo!!! Happy with the Ausiello spoiler. No Huddy sex in the DE episode. Once again, life is good.

Then again, House confessing the whole thing in the clinic in DE's episode. Weird. They made her do that, didn't they?

But that could be funny. If he is still hallucinating and Amber is egging him on, he could be all snarky about it, or say she was crap in bed. And that could cause all sorts of problems for both of them. I'm sure the rest of the doctors at PPTH think that Cuddy favors House enough without sleeping with him. Maybe this could lead to some sanctions? Or maybe they lock House up b/c they are claiming he is crazy to cover it up? I think I need to be in the crack thread. ;)

It would seem that House is playing the opposite game next week. At least from third clip, he takes whatever Amber says and uses the opposite approach, which in its own way explains the "I always want to kiss you," as I'm sure Amber represents the "NEGATE!" part of his brain.
But House apologizing... I wonder if, after he's done hallucinating, he'll be able to identify that negative part of his brain/thoughts better on his own, and if that would affect his approach to his practice and other people.

Just watched the sneak peeks.
OMG the second one!
"Amber": Don't deflect. He cares about you, you care about him. Tell him you love him.
Wait, what? Did I mishear that?
Wilson: Who are you talking to?
House: Someone who's not actually here. Beyond that seems irrelevant.
Wilson: Your mind made a choice. It means something.
"Amber": You know he's just gonna keep asking.
House: Kutner.
Is it Monday yet?
wintertide- 04-30-2009
Yeah, I got excited also, but it isn't "love".
Still, at least House is admitting how important Wilson is.
I wonder if House will tell Wilson the truth, or probably Wilson will find out somehow.
It does seem that despite the Huddy, this episode will have lots of awesome H/W angst. Hopefully enough to make up for it.

I heard " Tell him you need him" sorry.

Can't really tell they are all three talking at the same time. But someone else at that site thought Amber said "Tell him you need him."

Yea, it looks like House is afraid to tell Wilson it is Amber he is hallucinating.
Over all House looks like he is completely freaked out and terrified of what is happening to him.

I couldn't hear the word at all, which I'd bet was done deliberately. They have a problem using the word "love" on this show when it comes to anything but a romantic/sexual relationship.
"Tell him you need him," wouldn't quite make sense, though, because (a) House already told Wilson he needs him, at the beginning of the clip; and (b) House and Wilson have never had difficulty articulating that House needs Wilson. It's admitting to a voluntary, mutually enjoyable connection that's hard for them.

Oh! Just thought of a possibility for the "I always want to kiss you" line that would be more House-like. A second later, he makes a face and says, "Or is that kill you? I always get those two confused."
(Then for House/Cuddy fans, it could go: "Oh, shut up," she says affectionately, and then they kiss, etc.)

Oh well done Dee i would totally go for that :)

So I'm thinking House detoxes and while he's Vicodin free, possibly Amber free, he and Cuddy get together. And then that scene with him on the bathroom floor: it's afterwards, where he's reaching for the Vicodin because he's in pain.

Its really hard to tell with the three of them talking. First time I watched it I couldn't make it out then when I knew what people thought she said it sounded like she started with love and ended in need.
But these clips have made me feel a bit better about the episode.
