Catholic priests are priests, at least up here. If the man of the cloth in ep 24 is a minister, wouldn't that make him a Protestant?
Possibly, but not necessarily, depending on whoever was doing the writing of the summary.

One other thing from Ausiello: "A major character will suffer a life-threatening medical emergency tonight. Hint: A clue about what triggers it can be found in last week's 30 Rock."
This probably means that someone has an allergic reaction. ...or, for the other 30 Rock possibility, someone puts a mouse in a box and that freaks the person out to the point where they crash into the wall and then a monitor falls on their head? But that's probably less likely. *g*
As for which character, I guess it could be pretty much anybody. No character's mentioned having allergies that I recall.
I don't watch 30 Rock but if anyone knows who might have the allergic reaction, please share. I just hope it's not 13 or Foreman.

I bet it will be 13. She'll confront the possibility of dying and Foreman will confront the possibility of losing her. I am sure this is the "obstacle" that DS spoke of. Plus, Liz Friedman wrote this one.

Wonder if someone has an allergic reaction while at the bachelor party? Chase, maybe? Or maybe it's alcohol poisoning?
melly- 04-27-2009
"A major character will suffer a life-threatening medical emergency tonight.
Good grief! I'll bet it's Thirteen. It's been 5 whole episodes since she's been in mortal danger, so I'm betting that's the entire reason they had to have her character at the bachelor party.
Please let it be ANYONE but Thirteen or Cuddy. All I ask is one episode without 13 peril or Huddy angst.

Perhaps 13 will have an allergic reaction to a latex costume worn by one of the strippers and will have to give up any hands on hospital work. And then she'll leave.
Or perhaps there's something in the cocktail House gives Chase that he reacts to.

This made me laugh so hard    Again, I would truly hate for it to be 13, cause then I would have to endure BOTH 13 and Foreman. Of course if it leads to 13 joining my beloved Amber on the big white bus in the sky then I'm all for it.

Maybe Chase has an undiagnosed Whipped Cream allergy :winkiss:
Party maybe fun but i really hope something stops the wedding. I would rather watch 40 minutes of Huddy sex than Chameron getting married and that rates pretty high in my :yucky: book.
idonmatrix- 04-27-2009
I'm not a Cameron, Chase, Cuddy, or Huddy fan but the Chameron wedding, I imagine, will be a lot like the Kutner funeral, a music montage of scenes that I will only watch once UNLESS there's a really fantastic H/W moment then I might have to watch over and over again :)

What if House turns to God and goes to visit a Minister

Well, if 13 would have the decency to actually die, then it would be funny. Diagnosed with a terminal illness, held at gunpoint, and survived a brain tumor only to be done in by a strawberry.
Maybe Chase has an undiagnosed Whipped Cream allergy
LOL!
If by some chance it were Chase, however, would that cause Cameron to go batshit? SHe lost hubby #1, then nearly loses would be hubby#2 the day before the wedding.
Whoever it is, I wonder if the allergy will be from something House gives him/her. It would be one more thing to pile onto his guilty conscience-especially if he thinks he should have been aware of the allergy.

Though I seriously doubt it would happen this way. House just reveiwed Wilson's medical records (Saviors) to find out if there was a reason for his "healthy diet". So I imagine House could think he should have known about any Wilson allergies.
LightMyCandle- 04-27-2009
Given who the writers are for this episode, I'm sure it will be 13. I don't really care who it is (I'm just numb to her now, I'll just tune those parts out) as long as it's not Cuddy. I do not want more of that drama. It would be cool if it were Chase though. Whoever it is, I'm sure it will be all House's fault, in his mind anyway, to add to the guilt and send him spiraling even further down.
You know, I hope Wilson's eased himself beyond washing Amber's coffee mug, or House totally changing his apartment is going to be quite a shock.
I'm glad Chase has a best man that he's (I assume) actually close to and it's not falling on Foreman. They're friendlier than they used to be, but still not really friends.
razor- 04-27-2009
Or it's merely a TV show and Cuddy's actions served the plot and were not meant to be a reflection of society as a whole.
ETA: And by Season 2, every character, even Cameron, had performed actions that in the world would have had them reprimanded and fired, so it's something of a futile exercise to try to call a character out like that three seasons after the fact. What should be focused on in this thread are spoilers, specifically Chase and Cameron's wedding.
I just wanted to say I apologize. The spoiler thread was not the place for that comment but sometimes I just get so angry about women's issues and I can't help myself. It is no excuse, but I'm also trying to quit smoking, which is making me extra irritable.
"A major character will suffer a life-threatening medical emergency tonight"
I think it would have been funnier if the clue was in an episode of the office, like if someone got squashed with a Prius or burned their foot on a George Foreman Grill while making early morning bacon.
I also think it would be interesting if Cameron was the one that got sick instead of Chase, if they go that route.
Taiga- 04-27-2009
So, is there going to be a PATIENT during all this madness?
A life threatening medical emergency? Maybe it's alcohol poisoning.
Am I the only one having trouble believing that Foreman, Wilson and Chase would act like we see them doing in that promo? Drinking, watching strippers, I get it. But dancing in their underwear? In front of work colleagues?
