I will say this for Cuddy (and I'm sure I'll be taking it back very soon), at least she gets that House needs Wilson and that she just can't take care of or handle House on her own. At least she doesn't think that her "love" or whatever is enough for him.
Plus that given their current relationship House wouldn't LET her be there for him any more than she was.
In 'Simple Explanation' not only did House not see Kutner's suicide coming, but he missed the clubbing on Meat Loaf's fingers and therefore the diagnosis AND also didn't diagnose Charlotte in time to save her. We know that in the finale Cuddy has to push House to take a patient. I'm thinking that he loses a patient because he can't diagnose him/her and really comes to believe he's losing his brilliance. Remember in 'No Reason' he was willing to risk his mind to have a healthy leg, but in the methadone episode he chose pain because he thought he needed it to be brilliant. I wish they'd explain more on how his attitude changed, but there you go. House will believe he's lost his gift and will leave the hospital (nods).

I still feel the Amber scene will be a "White Bus - Revisited" and possibly another "passenger" will be aboard, Kutner. It would explain why Kal seemed to be present on set in the last few weeks. I think House may start talking with Amber, then suddenly Kutner appears either on the other side of him, or at the end of the bus. Just my thoughts, anyway

Maybe Amber finally agrees to go out with Kutner...in the afterlife.

Poor Amber...a year later, and she is still stuck on the darn bus?

TMZ has a photo of Hugh Laurie in LAX -- is filming over for the season already?
OK, I checked Twitter and Omar Epps has the deal (posted 4/7, 8:34 PM ET):
omarepps: Tmrw is the last day of filming for our 5th season... Wow! Thanks to everyone that watches "House". Buckle up for season 6...
about 1 hour ago from web
I guess Hugh wrapped early?

OE tweeted that tomorrow is the last day of shooting for the season.
Chipmunk_love- 04-07-2009
According to Omar, tomorrow is the last day of filming. Of course, that doesn't mean that couldn't have wrapped today, and they're spending their time tomorrow filming scenes without House.

I thought the spoiler said House is the only one who sees Amber. Of course it doesn't mean other people can't be there but I really thought it was going to be a House/Amber scene.

There were pictures of Kal at the beach, where he wasn't in the episode, and spoilers of him at the bachelor's party, where he could not really be. Maybe he just likes to hang around, or there will be some more 'hallucinating' scenes coming.
Regarding the new spoiler: very happy Huddy does not seem to be the result of the suicide.

But he was still at least on the show when he was at the beach (although I can totally see him as the type who just wants to hang out on set). The bachelor party was shot when he wasn't working anymore, and while I don't doubt the cast would love to see him, I'm guessing contractual obligations forbid him from just coming to visit, no matter how much they love him, haha. But if he was working on that episode, just not on that scene, it makes much more sense to me. Maybe House sees Kutner and Amber at the same time? A little Harry Potterish, but still, haha.

Do we know when he stopped working? That does not have to be at the same time this last episode was shot, I believe.
starbuck77- 04-08-2009
Ok, I'm confused.
Is David Shore wrong:
Does it bring Cuddy and House closer together?
SHORE: The way House reacts ultimately brings House and Cuddy closer.
Or is TVGuide wrong:
Will House and Cuddy kiss again before the end of the season? — Hilla
MATT: If you, like many, suspect that Kutner's tragic death will in and of itself serve as the catalyst for more Huddy canoodling, think again. As exec producer Katie Jacobs points out, "After such a horrible event, certain people would want to want to be closer and want to sort of couple up. But with House, it sends him in the opposite direction" — namely, toward another life-changing season finale.
??
Cutie Honey- 04-08-2009
I'll be honest, I hope it's the latter. It just seems more in-character, imo.
I'm very interested with how the end of the season will play out. All the hype has definitely got me buzzed. :D
reckless- 04-08-2009
@starbuck77 both are probably right ... ie they 'll give fans the Huddy then House will be all messed up again and distance himself They are trying to keep fans happy with the Huddy while also keeping their out of left-field non-conventional these two can't be together line.

Haha, that's like the opposite of what DS said. I'm sure you're right reckless. It sounds like they'll briefly come together and then immediately it will fall apart. I don't see them even attempting a relationship after the sex. Oh well, this makes me feel a little better about my H/W rift fears.
