We'll have to watch the subtitles closely tonight - the sound on that clip is tough.
About the surgery question, can't blame Chase in that instance much, its not exactly the appropriate time to have that conversation. And why is Kuttner (Kal Penn's character) assisting Chase? Or is it House's patient needing surgery, & Chase is the designated hitter with Kuttner tagging along (though why not Taub? he's the surgeon).

Chase most definitely said 'Were the men wrong?' No doubt about it.
Also, we're apparently going to see Foreman tonight. Yay.

I wonder if the viewers with Hi-Def will be able to spot Cameron wearing an engagement ring. I need it confirmed whether Wilson was lying or not.

If I remember the clip correctly, it appears that Chase is doing the surgery on House's patient with Kuttner assisting him as House watches in the gallery. Chase mutters that there's a lot of blood and asks Kuttner, "You guys really thought it was vasculitis?" So yes: House's patient with Chase as apparent lead surgeon.
Ah, editing to answer SS:

I wouldn't expect Cameron to wear an engagement ring at work even if she had one. Most of the female docs I know skip the big diamonds at work, because the latex gloves have a nasty habit of loosening the setting and ripping the stone right out of the ring. One of my closest friends was stuck digging through biohazard surgical waste to retrieve her 2-carat diamond from a discarded surgical glove.

We also get to see his team. I posted this upthread (http://houseofwhining.com/viewtopic.php?p=19047#19047) & according to the press release there are three characters
Mary Kate Schellhardt as Female Fellow -
look, its Cameron 3.0! http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0770788/
Reynaldo Rosales as Handsome Fellow (aka Jack, per imdb)
look, wants to be, but not as pretty as Chase http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1080919/
Douglas Spain as Latino Fellow
look, its Foreman Jnr http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0816669/
This crew is Foreman's team that we see at Mercy apparently, & Foreman's copying House!
407- 10-09-2007
Ahh, I remember that now...
Hee, Foreman and his Mercy team. Bless.

Back on the knife in the socket thing, cause yeah I can't let it go, I wish they'd have HL do a PSA at the end of the episode warning kids not to try this at home. And if RSL and JS could add in a warning too, that would definitely help enforce the message. Because I'm all about the safety. :)

Not to mention all the handwashing. One of the doctors on our floor wore hers on a chain around her neck instead.
I suspect with the mention of "the men", House is referring to Scooter there. I guess that means Scooter is keeping his non-doctor status under wraps from his team.

HA! Vasuclitis! How soon we forget.
And  at the very good reasons to not bring the rock to work. Although Chase "isn't rich" anymore, so maybe it's a little rock. Or a Ring Pop. Either way, she should still say (have said?) yes, so long as it isn't grape flavored.
*High fives 407 for the 4man props*
Wonder what Cameron or Chase will say about House's electrocution. Or if they'll just pour themselves another glass of sherry in front of the fireplace and laugh heartedly, then feed each other chocolates. :P

Yeah, people seem to hate him so much. I don't hate him. Foreman is awesome.
This may all be because I'm currently watching Heavy - the episode that makes me hate Chase and love Foreman.
I think that my opinion of those two changes with every episode I watch. I don't know...
I'm liking the 6/9 backstory, if only because I am a huge backstory!whore. What can I say?
Do you think his time in foster care had anything to do with setting his parents' house on fire, or something?

Oy. Shore seems to have a "type" ;-) There's just so many Cameron-esque sorts on this show.
(Joss Whedon seemed to have a type as well. Alot of the women he cast were dancers - ballet dancers in particular - Juliet Landau (Drusilla), Summer Glau (River) were very serious professional ballerinas. Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia), Amy Acker (Fred), Eliza Dushku (Faith) and Michelle Trachtenburg (Dawn) all studied ballet to some degree as well. I started noticing this because my former roommate was a dancer and she could always pick up the people who had serious training and we'd IMDB 'em and sure enough, ballet dancers.)

I admit it, I'm kind of excited to see Foreman too.
Another reason to possibly have Chase and Cameron stay together, at least for a little while is that if they're together TPTB would have an easier time evening out screentime. Just a thought.
LogicalLilly- 10-09-2007
And it seems like having Chase and Cam together does AWESOME things for their respective characters (well, I can tolerate Cameron much better. Hooker hair helps too), so both the actors and the writers may have a lot invested in Ch/C sticking it out for a while at least
I feel just the opposite way about Ch/C. Their bizarre, out-of-character behavior during the Sexcapades was detrimental to both characters, in my opinion. Cameron was inexplicably demanding sex in all the wrong places, Chase went along with it even though he was sure he was being used to make House jealous, and both of them were neglecting patients to get laid. My hatred for the C/C pairing was sealed forever when I saw the ridiculous scene with the two of them smirking about their sex in the old lady's bed while poor Foreman was trying to get them to participate in the DDX.
I'm very disappointed to see that they're still together. I guess David Shore meant "no more public sex" when he said that they wouldn't be hooking up anymore, but it will be a long time before I forgive or forget those absurd Sexcapades.
LightMyCandle- 10-09-2007
Is it weird that I only started liking Chameron as a couple after they broke up? The sexcapades sucked and they both sucked for neglecting patients and carelessly ignoring their jobs like that but after Cameron apologized to Chase in AYA, I kind of came around. I'm not actively rooting for them, but, Good Lord, it's better than some alternative pairings. At least they look right together.
