Taiga- 02-17-2009

(scratches head) I can't/won't watch video on my computer but looking at the screencaps for the promo for the next episode, it appears that once again the one I saw (on Global) was different. I feel special now. The promo I saw was very Wilson-centric, which was strange. Maybe this is the ep Ausellio or whoever was referring to when he said RSL had some meaty non-LLB work coming up? It started with House asking permission to take Wilson's bagel, Wilson telling Cuddy (that's how I remember it, I could be wrong) about it, a scene change where Wilson exclaims "He's on heroin!" (I'm assuming Wilson will be proved wrong), another scene where Kutner comes into Wilson's office and says "There's something wrong with House", Wilson and House in a parking garage (I think) with Wilson yelling something like "You're detoxing off Vicodin? You'll kill yourself!", then Wilson and Cuddy walking into House's office and running a code on House. He doesn't wake up when Wilson kicks his chair and they realize he's not breathing. I'm wondering if the clip you saw with Foreman twisting House's nipples is a red herring. Remember the speculation that House is taking estrogen? Maybe Foreman is testing that theory to see if House's breasts are responding to estrogen.

deelaundry- 02-17-2009

Very different! The first 15 secs are about the patient. a boy about 10 or so who apparently is both "male AND female" with a secret "that could KILL him," then the House asking for food scene, then Wilson and House clinking glasses at a bar -- "House is being GOOD" -- then Wilson telling Cuddy, "He's keeping something from both of us." -- "and that's gotta be BAD" -- Cuddy, "He's not breathing"; Wilson, "Call a code!"; Foreman purple nurple and House yells. Wilson, "you stopped breathing!"; Cuddy, "What the hell is going on?"; House panting.

LightMyCandle- 02-17-2009

Wow, it sounds like Wilson will be all over this episode. Cafeteria/bagel scene, at least one scene (probably two) with him talking to Cuddy about House acting strange, Kutner talking to Wilson, House and Wilson in the parking garage, House and Wilson out at a bar or something, Wilson with Cuddy discovering House not breathing. Awesome :D I can't wait. I noticed that Wilson's wearing the same clothes during the House isn't breathing scene as he is in the scene with House while they're toasting (except he's got his jacket on in the latter), it looks like it's night during that scene, but daylight during the titty twister (I think that phrase is funnier than purple nurple) scene. So, that means (maybe) that the bar/restaurant scene is after they know for sure something is wrong with House, so I wonder if the bar scene is at the end of the episode and the crisis is over. Sorry, I didn't have classes today and I've spent way too much time looking at those pics.

Taiga, thanks for the description of the Global promo. It's been mentioned all over the place, but yours is the most detailed description by far. It is even more intriguing than the U.S. promo. I've been searching for it but it seems it hasn't been put up anyplace yet. I hope it is posted soon. I am fascinated by the fact that House and Wilson actually seem to be going out to dinner or something. I wonder why and what led up to that, it's been so long since they did anything socially together. This episode looks so promising, I wonder now too if it is the "meaty" Wilson stuff the spoiler was referring to, but I still hope there is more to it also.

angelcat2865- 02-17-2009

Are you asking what that is, angelcat? It's when you grab someone's nipple and twist it really hard, which will make it bruise, hence the name. And it's just as painful as it sounds. Well, House's screwing with Foreteen proves that he's not feeling any niceness effects this week, for those who thought he might have been last episode. Thanks Taiga that is what I was asking.

If House is taking estrogen maybe while they're arguing he'll tell Wilson that he, Wilson, is the nice guy because he's a girl at heart, and the dinner scene is a date  Dee, thanks for the description of the promo I didn't see. Ah overly dramatic Fox voiceover guy, where would we be without you?

RachelSue- 02-17-2009

That is the funniest promo I've ever seen, barring "asthma lady" from the Christmas episode. Purple-nurple is a way to wake someone up when they're not breathing? I hope to God a paramedic never, ever has the opportunity to use it on me. This has the makings of a great episode: lots and lots of Wilson, sick!House, and a dinner date for H/W. Love it.

This episode looks so promising, I wonder now too if it is the "meaty" Wilson stuff the spoiler was referring to, but I still hope there is more to it also. It sure does! I actually hope it's not the meaty Wilson episode because that would give us at least two Wilson-centric (or so it seems from the promos) upcoming episodes! The more the merrier! :p

LightMyCandle- 02-17-2009

I wonder now too if it is the "meaty" Wilson stuff the spoiler was referring to, but I still hope there is more to it also. I hope there's more to his "meaty" stuff than this episode and the LLB episode (especially since I'm 95% sure that LLB will only be a one episode thing) because despite the fact that Wilson's all over this ep. (so it seems) he's still doing typical Wilson stuff, worrying over House. I also hope that LLB doesn't come right after this because I want to be able to keep looking forward to it.

Cutie Honey- 02-17-2009

I hope his "meaty" stuff includes an arc or two. I also hope his Amber-rut hasn't totaly been forgotten about. The promo for the next ep looks great. Lots of Wilson and House scenes is always a plus. Can't wait <3 (And lol @ the tittie twister! That has made my day!)

idonmatrix- 02-17-2009

That's my new phrase for moar Wilson - "meatyWilson" I love it. I am so looking forward to the softer side - Wilson and House clinking glasses is just made of awesome :) If purple nurple is a standard procedure for someone who has stopped breathing, why didn't Wilson do it. In the promo, he's the one closest to House. Was Wilson so upset at seeing House in that condition, he got lost? I just don't get it.

Was Wilson so upset at seeing House in that condition, he got lost? I just don't get it. It's not. I think they were getting desperate. They may be waiting for the paddles, and Foreman probably just did the first thing that came to mind.

I am fascinated by the fact that House and Wilson actually seem to be going out to dinner or something. I wonder why and what led up to that, it's been so long since they did anything socially together. I think it's only been a long time since we as viewers have seen them do anything socially. In "Lucky Thirteen," Wilson mentioned them doing a lot of things together outside of work; I think that was meant to establish that as their typical pattern. Along with House stalking Wilson in his free time. :)

fffaw- 02-18-2009

Foreman probably just did the first thing that came to mind. And probably enjoyed it immensely. There's a lot of pent up aggression there and who could blame him.

Sariele- 02-18-2009

the titty twister (I think that phrase is funnier than purple nurple) OT: I don't know if this is just an Australian-ism, but down here we call 'em "Nipple Cripples". lol.
