Good lord, those previews look awful. Still finding it hard to believe they're celebrating their 100th episode by tying 13 to the railroad tracks. Again.

marla_singer- 01-27-2009

Amber coming back????? No---just no. my thoughts exactly. she was a great character, but they killed her off. that should be the end of it.

Good lord, those previews look awful. Still finding it hard to believe they're celebrating their 100th episode by tying 13 to the railroad tracks. Again. Hey, it's the 14th episode of the season, what's a 14th episode without some good old Foreteen drama ;)

LurkerAtLarge- 01-27-2009

IF they bring Amber back for an episode, I'd be OK if they went the 'what if' route. What if she had lived? Would she and Wilson stayed together and gotten married? What effect would that have on her relationship with House and Wilson's with House too. OR what if House had kept Amber instead of 13? Would she and Wilson have ever gotten together? How would she fit in with everyone else on the team and with House too?

LightMyCandle- 01-27-2009

I would love a "things that never were" episode, with scenes with several characters about how their lives would be different if key episodes hadn't happened. I wouldn't like that for the same reason I wouldn't like a flashback, it's meaningless. If they show an alternate reality episode, the very next one things would still be as they really are and that whole episode would have been a waste of time. I want things to push forward, especially since I hate where things are, I don't want any time wasted on 'what ifs.'

Housecall- 01-27-2009

They should never of killed off Amber in the first place. It should of been Amber on the team and not 13. It would be a big mistake to bring her back now. They should of used her in flash back for the 1st part of S5, with House and Wilson having to deal with the fall out of Ambers death. and repair their friendship. I really do think the story line there was rushed, in favor of doing the perils of 13. I am more than a little angry that the milestone 100th episode even though there is a POTW, its now another MarySue story that 13 now has a brain tumor and is blind!!!! : evil: where the heck are they going with this character? it is now starting to get like one of House's soaps every week. or a bad fanfic  Maybe I should go to the bitterness thread and vent more there! :x

Question: We haven't seen much of Wilson lately on House. Do you know if there is anything in store for him? -- Morgan Ausiello: This certainly has the potential to boost his visibility. What has the potential to boost Wilson's visibility? Am I missing something here? I am pretty confident that Wilson will be front and center again soon. If they could get rid of 13/Foreman and move Wilson in, I would be happy.

He was referring to the Amber possibly coming back from the dead spoiler.

m_supercomputer- 01-27-2009

RE: new spoiler - so, something explosive in House's head involving Wilson, eh? Sounds dirty. No, but, this seems to me like Ausiello implying things again, which usually means he doesn't have any concrete info. So, who knows how significant all that is. Also, the Amber thing - I thought Ausiello was the only one seriously speculating on really bringing her "back to life," right? It's almost certainly got to be a hallucination or a flashback or a dream or something else...not real, if it happens.

wintertide- 01-27-2009

I don't know if I like the sound of "something cataclysmic going on in Houses's head" for the end of the season. I thought that they have done that before, actually several times before. I really don't think I want to see House hallucinating again. But rereading, it sounds like it is going to be something mentally traumatic to him. I guess it has to involve Wilson and Cuddy also in some way. And Amber coming back? I somehow tend to think it will be House hallucinating about her again, and it will have nothing to do with Wilson at all. But I really would once love to see Wilson hallucinating for a change or be so despondent about her that he thinks she is still alive, but that totally woundn't make sense for the end of the season. But then again things don't quite have to make sense. I am also curious why for the last question Ausiello didn't mention LLB. I thought we were told he was coming up soon, at least that is what I thought RSL was saying. I hope that it isn't just that we are making a much bigger deal of it than it actually will be.

Especially when the alternative this season seems to be nothing but 14. I look forward to the episodes that experiment in form and function and those that center on House never fail to please. Would that "Last Resort" had been more about House and less about 13, it could have been salvageable.

My first thought when I read the spoiler was that it would be another House hallucinating episode, but rereading I realized it wasn't really that, so if something happens that has that strong an effect on House, that could be really interesting.

LightMyCandle- 01-27-2009

And Amber coming back? I somehow tend to think it will be House hallucinating about her again, and it will have nothing to do with Wilson at all. If Amber comes back, I want Wilson to be the one who sees her, not House. It will probably end up being House, but I loved Wilson's relationship with her and RSL and AD completely sold being in love, at least for me (something very few pairings on this show manage to do, IMO). Man, I wish DeadDenny hadn't happened this season because I would be much more excited about this if I hadn't been watching Izzie actually have a relationship with a ghost or a hallucination or whatever he is. On the bright side, "House" never, IMO, gets as melodramatic and soapy as Grey's does, so I'm hopeful that Amber will have a purpose other than to spout off sappy lines with Wilson or House, and that her appearance will be brief and not needlessly dragged out over several episodes. Of course, I think a lot of things this season are being needlessly dragged out, so perhaps I'm speaking too soon. I am also curious why for the last question Ausiello didn't mention LLB. I thought we were told he was coming up soon, at least that is what I thought RSL was saying. *shrugs* The Amber info. is newer and probably more exciting to fans because Amber is someone we all know, unlike LLB. And LLB may not wind up being a big deal but we do know that David (I'm assuming Shore) just wrote an episode involving the LLB plot. I was really hoping for St. Doris. As for House's mental trauma? Well, at least hopefully that means we can avoid any NDE this season, I am not a fan of those. I'm sure it involves Cuddy in some way. I just hope it doesn't involve the baby. I'm done with the baby, I've been done with the baby since I first read about the baby.

Good lord, those previews look awful. Still finding it hard to believe they're celebrating their 100th episode by tying 13 to the railroad tracks. Again. Maybe they keep hoping the train will run over her. I loved Amber. I thought she was the best of the new characters and it was a huge mistake to kill her off even if it did get them the best episode of the season. But unless she's in a Dead Denny arc (which is working so well for GA  ), I don't see how they can do it. To bring her back for one episode so that Wilson can let her go and move on with his life will only remind me how good Anne Dudek is and how much I miss her on the show.

Taiga- 01-27-2009

Oh, I really really don't want House going through any more trauma.
