Those first few minutes are directed really well. Love the music.

Are the Fox on Demand videos being bastards to anyone else, or is it just my internet connection? The first few minutes are definitely directed very well. I can't wait to see what else KJ has in store for this episode. Wilson's Heart was so aesthetically pleasing (the pure white of Amber's ICU room still stands out in my mind), that I can't imagine Last Resort being anything less than art. Visually, at least. I also have high hopes for plot-wise.

No, it's not a stupid question, and to my understanding that's SOP when there's an armed gunman in the building. Unless our regulars are the ones told to stay inside to monitor the patients who can't be moved.

I wondered what House was doing in Cuddy's office, too. Reading her email? I also thought it was odd that the team was still in the hospital, but maybe they can't realistically evacuate the most critical patients? Because they're in a hallway somewhere with patients piled up. If they're in Wilson's office, my guess is Wilson's not too far away :) Cuddy looks like she's in the cafeteria...or wherever they were when Chase & Vogler were seated at a booth way back when.

And his failure to surprise Cuddy with it in this episode because of that pesky weapon wilding PotW will result in him giving it to her in the Christmas ep instead. But not after really re-thinking it hard when she moves into his office in between. No really. :roll: ETA: Which doesn't mean I'm against H/C. I just means I'm frustrated with myself for continuing to read spoilers even though I really don't want to. And that makes me a bit pissy. Sorry.

Given that it will be "The Thirteen Show," there will be people who will inherently hate it before it even airs, but I think this episode is going to be 13's big turning point. We've seen little moments all throughout this season where she seems to realize that life is, in fact, worth living, but so far her death has only been dealt with in hypothetical terms. With this brush with imminent death, it may give her the push she needs to actually live a life.
