It seems completely obvious to me that the promo was edited so as to not show everything, but I simply must ask about the quote in block above: is that person mentally challenged or what? None of those sentences made sense in the language we call English. Yeah well, not everyone in the world is fluent in English. Maybe they're still learning. Either way the 'mentally challenged' comment is damn rude.

I disagree here. If that was true, House would never have been so concerned about Cuddy's sperm donor possibilities, or her dates. There have always been nods, some more subtle than others, to House's personal investment in her, to his attraction to her, and to how much he cares about her. Looking at past episodes, there really is no room for doubt in my mind that House cares about her and is sexually attracted to her, and that she's one of the most important people in his life. I just saw no real support that he was in love with her, but I don't think that's what anyone's suggesting here. But, I think the kiss and the fallout will be interesting, and will probably clarify that House definitely cares about her on a personal level, even though I don't think he would really want a real relationship. And I think this "itch" and House's dream will clarify that if a relationship was something they pursued, it would end in absolute disaster for both of them. I recall something to do with House trying to catch a mosquito that's bugging him in his dream, and he ends up blowing up his apartment. I have a feeling it'll be connected to, if House tried to "catch" Cuddy, the resulting explosion would cause things to end badly for both of them. I hope, though, that it's a realization that they both come to, even if they come to it separately, and agree about it together. Either way, as many have already said, it'll probably be interesting. I definitely agree with your post, although I'm going to quibble with you a bit on your interpretation of the dream. I could have sworn I heard Hugh describe as though House was trying to "zap" the mosquito, which to me would mean that House, in trying to get rid of his feelings for Cuddy, just makes the whole situation worse than it would have been had he just dealt with how he felt. Either way, I think the end result is the same -- both House and Cuddy need to deal with their feelings and how they're going to incorporate said emotions into their daily lives, if at all.

Strangely enough the quote was taken off another forum & the user is Italian. I can't speak Italian but her english was good enough for me to understand her point enough to pass it over to you. No need to be rude! Also the clip was 'edited' by the original posters boyfriend who cut it short, the full australian promo actually shows them kissing not just teasing.

Why do I keep thinking that the mosquito - apartment blowing up episode is just so sweeps promos can show a gigantic explosion with the voice-over saying something like "The most amazing House episode ever!!!!"

I definitely agree with your post, although I'm going to quibble with you a bit on your interpretation of the dream. You prompted me to go back and look. "Kill" and "zap" were the words he used, you're right. Oh, well, now that that's clarified, this might be even more interesting now. Dealing with it all will probably be awkward, and confusing, and troublesome for both of them, and I think the "blowing up his apartment" may signal some kind of pain, that it could be a painful process or event that occurs whether he deals with it all or not. I just hope it doesn't involve horrible heartbreaking, and if it's a mutual sort of "dealing with" it will likely be less painful than if one or the other makes a decision on their own. I've only seen the short promo that teases us that they will share a kiss. (but doesn't actually show the kiss). I don't think there has been any other promos - We usually only get one promo for each show.

What I was questioning was the blockquote which wasn't linked or referenced to anything and appeared, to me, rambling and rather confused. Well the more awkward, hesitant shot is the same scene as the hot and steamy one, I'm pretty sure. You could see a glimpse of House's shirt after "Their" in that promo. And, I can't stop watching it. That's so damn hot, and if that's not sexual attraction and passion, I don't know what is. Whew. I think Shore's still going to be true to his word here and "not going to have them start dating, and be happy, and live together. But, you know, maybe one episode something will happen and they'll have to deal with that." And from the looks of it, it seems like they'll have more than a sweet little kiss to deal with, because with that steamy kiss, sex probably isn't out of the question. (Please, God, show some skin.) Whew, hot, hot, hot. I kind of want to see all of this right now.

I'm going to go on record as saying that I think they'll have sex as well. Why not now? It's been strongly hinted at for over a year now, so wouldn't now be the time? Cuddy's defenses are down, House is trying to make himself irresistible to her so that she'll forget her silly, selfish baby ideas and concentrate on him again. They start to kiss and end up in the sack. The "aftermath" that was promised would continue for the rest of the season. That's my theory. I'm probably wrong, but I just had to put it out there to see what anyone else thinks. Of course, I'm basing that on my assumption that neither of them really wants a relationship. Unless Cuddy decides that she no longer wants a baby - and that would be a terrible shame - the baby issue would be a huge obstacle in any House/Cuddy relationship, in my opinion.
