I think that maybe she used too much talc on her fingers and the ball slipped off her hand on the backswing, hitting the step-brother's girlfriend in the head, leaving her brain damaged and on life support, until 13 "accidentally" tripped over the cord in the hospital, freeing the step-brother to be pursued by 13 (she always thought he was hot), until their parents revealed that the "step-brother" was really a love child that they had had together years before they married, and he is really 13's brother, so she had to send her own love child (the one that looks like the kid from "Deliverance") off to be raised by nuns. Seriously. This happened to me once. Except the ball only landed on my boyfriend's foot. Who needs telenovelas?

Once she officially exists, maybe we need a "crazy Thirteen speculation" thread. Although I am curious to see what they manage to come up with for an original secret - Bones has already used "my parents were criminals and I don't know who I am", Grey's used "I was an underwear model and I gave up a kid for adoption", all for one character, HIMYM even used "I was a teenaged pop star in Canada."

She's Cuddy's daughter that she gave up for adoption years ago because she got pregnant too young and didn't want to ruin her promising future. To this day, Cuddy still regrets the fateful decision, and is compensating for the rejection of her first child by trying to conceive another and be the Good Mother she never had the chance to be. Thirteen wants to spy on bio-mommy (who is unaware of her identity) and is curious about whether House is her real father.

lHer secret is that she doesn't have a medical degree and her background is really in janitorial services, but she's learned a lot of medicine just by working in the hospital. So she's either the daughter of Dr. Buffer, weird night janitor who wears his pants backwards, or Blew aka Lou the janitor.
