Panty Hamster Gets a Spin on Its Wheel: House/Cuddy/Wilson
Mmmm, yummy. An OT3 most of us can get behind.

How about this for an apt thread title: No no no, she wants to see ME naked! Or indeed pretty well anything else from Act Your Age, my second favourite ep ever. Like X's are definitely the kisses A friend with a squish mitten She's not a friend of the opposite sex she's a different species She's going to eat your head after she's done Me, I'd get her drunk Etc!

How about "Panty Hamster Takes A Spin on the Wheel" Which is Just. So. Wrong. It's very wrong, that's why it's so damn perfect for this thread

May I just say that I love this ship, but I think it's the one thing I ship that I'd HATE to see on the show. The implied/insinuated/subtexty OT3-ness is far too delicious, and obviously, if homosexuality is too controversial for a show to indulge in, polygamy's got to be off the table. If only "House" were on HBO... But I digress. Lemme just say that this ship combines my love of Wuddy with my love of H/W. It's great. Oddly enough though, I really can't stand Huddy. Alas.

But House had done the same thing to Wilson in Fools for Love. Does House not know what/who he wants? Or is he just, as he said in Insensitive, an "Evil bastard who just wants to mess with other people’s happiness"? I don't think he was just messing with either Wilson's or Cuddy's happiness. I think he was/is afraid of losing them. If he just wanted to screw with people's happiness, wouldn't he have obsessed and intruded on Cam and Chase's relationship? I think it's specifically Wilson and Cuddy he "worries" about (and Stacy when she was there). He's walked out on a ddx twice when Wilson was talking to a woman, he's stalked Cuddy on her date, and when Wilson and Cuddy started hanging out together, he was clearly not happy. I think he wants them both (what that exactly means is open to interpretation) but he wants their attention on him whenever he wants it, he wants them both available to him whenever he wants or needs something, and he doesn't want anyone else to have them either.

I was thinking about this ship after a discussion about AYA and HT. I guess the problem House has with W/C together is lack of control, specially with Wilson. Let me try to explain and see if this makes any sense for someone other than me... We saw Bonnie saying how much she resented House and we can suspect Julie had the same problem. It was a matter of time until Wilson chose to stay with House and left the wives. They didn't know how to deal with House and Wilson relationship. But Cuddy knows! So with her there's a risk of lose control over Wilson, it's even worst because Cuddy isn't needy as the others seemed to be. So it's a relationship that could work and House is afraid he could lose the only two people that seem to matter to him right now. Strangely, I don't care about H/Cuddy, but I find W/Cuddy very interesting. It doesn't have to be romantic at all, I'll be happy if they could be good friends.

People who are friends and co-workers should simply stay out of each others pants. That is all.

ChaiKovsky- 09-05-2007

I think if that happened, the television industry would quickly disintegrate.

You have to admit though - the fics that feature this trio are pretty interesting, to say the least.

People who are friends and co-workers should simply stay out of each others pants. That is all. Tv shows would be so boring if that happened on tv. ER and Grey's would have had like one episode each

But I don't WANT House Wilson and Cuddy doing it!!!!!! pouts and stamps foot... What??? This is House's House of Whining, isn't it???
